Can anyone tell me how we can manage to execute a man like Timothy McVeigh within 6 years of his crime, including his capture, trial, conviction, incarceration, and final moments - 4 years after his actual conviction - yet we can't seem to manage to execute any other murderers at all and just let them expire on their own?
I mean, why is Charles Manson still alive? I'm not saying he should be executed, I'm just asking about the difference between those two. I just don't get how we can execute one so quickly, yet keep the other alive for so long. Same for all death row inmates. I just don't understand. Pls help, /pol/
McVeigh wanted to get it over with so he didn't appeal you idiot
All criminals should be shot on the spot desu

The state of california got rid of the death penalty, I believe the year before he was convicted then he was convicted and then it was brought back but wasnt made retroactive so manson was untouchable idk what the status of the death penalty in california currently is though

Manson talked other ppl into doing his killing.
McVeigh killed children and destroyed a government building.

2 off, almost, buddy.
Anyway - your opinion doesn't fucking matter. They were both on death row, but as a previous poster said: commiefornia rescinded the death penalty.

The question is, why is Charles Manson still in jail? He never killed anyone, so why the fuck is he in jail?

Good question desu.
GO KILL SOME PEOPLE
If you actually do it, I'm not sure why I should be convicted for the above statement.
