Last day I was at the Royal Ontario Museum, the finest museum in Canada, and, to my surprise, it had some all gender bathrooms. I had never seen one of these before in my life, though I had read about them with some trepidation. But I needed to use it. A man and a woman then walked out of it. So I shrugged and decided to give it a shot.
Inside, there were many private stalls but no urinals. Total privacy was provided for everyone. Two women were talking and washing their hands at the sinks. They glanced at me without missing a beat in their conversation and finished washing up. I entered a stall to see a man about a dog, came out and saw some dude washing his hands. I followed suit and left.
Standing outside, I thought "That was pretty cool". Everyone in there used it without a second thought. We're all adults. We're all respectful. And I felt a new found pride as a Canadian. We CAN be progressive, accommodating and ADULT about these things. There is absolutely no reason to not have all gender bathrooms in society. Don't you agree?

My female friends were delighted at having an all gender bathroom precisely because it would eliminate the long line ups associated with the women's rooms. Finally some justice for the bladders of the fairer sex!

It would mean that the total number of bathroom stalls to be used would increase. Double, really. Because there won't be urinals for the men anymore. And because turnover for men in the stalls is much faster than for women, the total amount of access to toilets for women will increase and by a large degree.
The only drawback is that the men lose the convenience of having a urinal. But that's not that big a deal.

Have you seen the size of lines to go into the female bathrooms at big events? Women objectively need to use the bathroom more since half of them are on their period and have to clean that shit out
All-gender restrooms just means it will be more difficult for men to go to the toilet because women will be using up all of the stalls
