As most of you are aware, the electoral college has determined that Donald Trump has won the presidency.
After a great deal of deliberation, myself and the executive branch have come to the conclusion that, due to the grave danger and threat to the United States of America that Donald Trump poses, he be blocked from assuming the presidential office.
As such, I, Barack Obama will be serving a third term as President. I know some, even many of you may be upset, but please be aware that this is a matter of national security that this man not be given the great power and responsibility that comes with this position. Thus, I accept the task that is required of me; what is required of us now is a new era of responsibility, of change and of progression, something Mr. Trump would most certainly deny us. The risk of a divided, chaotic and violent future under this man is simply too much for myself and my colleagues in government to bear. As I accept the continuation of my presidential duties, I trust that you, my fellow Americans, continue yours, for this is the price and promise of citizenship.
