Sorry but it is. And it's not the media, it's the people around me, my own salary telling me I can't afford it. My mother reminds me how expensive I was and warns me not to have children until I can really afford it. And I clearly remember all the times I wanted something and was told "no we don't have enough money fot that". I want good quality, not cheap crap, and good quality costs money. Plus there's the time issue; I have a job I want to keep to keep my income and I have passions I enjoy pursuing and want to keep pursuing, so my time for a child is limited.
