Goldman Sachs suddenly started to give bank services for normal people this year. Also two of the biggest European banks started to crumble(yeah they have crumbled some time but now things turned from bad to worse).

This is like dot-com bubble, it hits one specific area so anything else than bank stocks will keep value. There is going to be panic as usual but it's good oppoturnity for buying.
Melting starts in EU so turning cash into USD is good too. You can exchange it much faster than physical metals when stocks dip and good buying spots happen.
