That's a different situation, because once it's been deactivated/decommissioned it's no longer considered a weapon.
There are some tank & armored vehicles that are privately owned, and while they look formidable as hell, if you look inside you'll see the breech block has been removed/blow torched to render it inactive.

I think there are more machine guns still around.
