Hard to say. US, britain and france were butthurt because they still suffered from the economic crisis from 1929. While Nazi Germany is always described as this evil totalitarian regime, nearly every story you hear from people actually experiencing it during peace time (or rather until 1943) said it was fucking awesome.
Grandfather of my gf was forced to join the Waffen SS at 17yo at the end of the war, but it was over 2 weeks later and he didn´t get to see any action. He always described his youth to be great, especially community wise, doing lots of sport etc.

Well, they started the war cause of bankruptcy and from then on they sticked to war economy.
That translates to shit menial (pretty much forced) jobs, shit wages and food scarcity.
From 1939 on if you were a male you were extremely likely to die while invading innocent people. In 1945 an entire generation was stunted for no reason whatsoever.
I'd say that life was shit in Nazi Germany, especially comsidering the sheer amount of civilian and military losses.

It was corrupt, high ranking party members could take your shit any day, there was constant threat of being arrested for the smallest sign of dissent. There was no freedom, especially not for sciences, art was strictly regulated, if you fell out of favor, you'd get arrested.
The Nazis were also very prude, bikinis or even bathing suits were forbidden, woman wore weird full body suits to the beach.
SS and Gestapo had right to shoot on site or send you to camp for the smallest of things. One german woman non-jewish was sent to camp because neighbours always thougth she was "weird" and didnt talk to them much so they reported her.
Economically all money was spent on millitary so hitler had to go to war to justify continuos rationing.

But the recovery from the great depression was paid with rather low wages and huge debt (but who cares about debt when you will conquer Europe anyway). 1935, the wages were still a third of that from 1929, but the state stepped in and eliminated unemployment in typical socialist fashion (debt and useless shovel jobs...oh, and armament). If you didn't speak up to the new order, you had a fine life.

My Great Uncle was in the Hitler youth as a child and he said living in Berlin was the best thing at the time, he would always say that by being in the Hitler youth you were invincible. The peactime 3rd Reich was so short lived, that I don't really think there is any meaningful measure for quality of life. And I think it's stupid to measure quality of life in countries at war, because wartime economy with rations from food through nylon to anything metal will give a distorted view. Obviously as the war progresses it will sink further and further. To give you a hint even the winning US as the emerging superpower had to get the silver from the various vaults and mints in the country to create the infrastructure, pipes and valves etc, for the building of the nuclear bomb. It's not that they didn't have iron. But all processed resources were poured into the arsenal. Precious metal on the other hand was already processed and at hand. It made more sense to use the ready material first. Even if that material was otherwise valuable precious metal.

That being said, one of the central tenets in National Socialism was that Germans shouldn't be judged by their class or their wealth, because all Germans were important cogs in the machinery that was Germany. The wealthy industrialist should be able to stand side by side with the factory worker, because they were both proud Germans.
This is in stark contrast to communism or the modern day west, which try to pit classes against each other, rather than bringing them together by giving them some common ground, a sense of community and national pride. Then again, multiculturalism has destroyed any chance of sharing common values, because the only thing they can promote are esoteric concepts and political values, which are extremely fickle. There's nothing tangible that connects people from different races and cultures.
