Warsaw is a nice city. Clean, no traffic jams like in Moscow/London etc., no migrants, good public transportation, a lot of new buildings are in progress, nice views all around.

Pretty much everything requires a prescription, even fucking cold medicine. My polish friend told me NON private clinics are way way worse.

I'm a software engineer who moved to PL from Serbia. I speak perfect German and English and in the past year I learned Polish (it's easy if you speak another slavic language, otherwise hard as fuck).
I love my life here, and Poles are generally a nice bunch of folks. But when I'm shitfaced in the city and start a conversation in English instead Polish, I get weird looks and get cockblocked by 90% of proud Poles who are closet xenophobes and hate everything that's not Polish, but sober they will never admitt this.
They also cry like whiny little bitches now that the UK rednecks are on the loose and whant to get Poles out of Britain, but when they want blacks/muslims/any other non-Pole out of Poland, it's okies.
I have around 3k EUR monthly salary here and my life is around 24 times better than it was in Serbia. The food is also nice and I like the climate more here than back at home (I like my summer days not going above 30 degrees Celsius).
All in all, good life here, as long as I'm as Polish as I can be. I'll never be fully accepted here, and my girlfriend will always suffer when we're strolling around the city, talking English... random guys approach us daily calling her out for dating a non-Pole (then I start speaking Polish and get in their face and they back off).
Also, fun fact: a shitload of Polish girls have square heads and huge boobs. The more square her head is, the bigger the boobs. It's a fascinating corelation.
