When I was younger, "globalization" to me was just a meme.
No one truly knew what it meant, with vague arguments and definitions. It literally meant different things to different people.
But now thanks to Trump and Farage, it has become pretty clear hasn't it?
Globalization means free trade, making Europeans & Americans poorer while everyone else gets richer.
Globalization means unaccountable, ultra-national authorities and institutions, like the EU, UN and WTO, which is now crystal clear they have specific political agendas.
Globalization means uncontrolled immigration, racial, cultural and religious conflict, ghettos and a breakdown of law and order, and an overwhelming of social safety nets and welfare.
And now that people see it for what it is, they are responding with nationalism. It's only natural.

Yeah recent events have clarified just what globalization is.
Before this there would be some libertarian talking about comparative advantage and labor mobility and theoretical maximum economic efficiency and it was all kind of dull and academic.
Now average people are seeing their nations destroyed by a literal wave of invaders for the benefit of the richest 1% and all the the globalists can do is call everyone Hitler.
