I haven't seen this addressed as directly as it is in my mind but does it make sense that an omnipotent and omniscient not know that humanity would fuck up? According to The Bible literally the only reason why suffering exists is because humanity sinned, God claims that he doesn't want to see humanity suffer and yet he could have prevented that by not creating us or by not creating what's essentially a trap for us to fall into.
Again, keep in mind that all suffering (including Kancer 4 Kidz) happens because a lady bit a fruit.
It's starting to feel like one big meme.

It is, sorry
You'll be happier if you can stay blue pilled on it but it's hard.

>implying the bible is meant to be taken literally
Christians acknowledge that the Bible was written by men, unlike Muslims who claim the Quran is literally the exact world of their god.

They were specifically told not to eat from that fucking tree!

he is all powerfull he choose not to know. In the end it does not really matter what happens in this life because there is a afterlife

But nigga, it's like putting all the toys a little kid wants in front of them and then telling them that the best looking one isn't for playing for some reason. We're inherently curious creatures and God knew this. What did he expect would happen?

They fucked up mate. But they probably wouldn't have if Satan hadn't interfered

your immediate question, "why the suffering bro," is a question of value, not morals
how much freedom are you willing to give up to get a zero-suffering existence? we're just arguing price here, because we definitely want less suffering
remember that God claims to be 'holy,' not 'good' according to human values, and there is no reason to suspect that we have the ability to perceive divine preference, or what such a being has planned for the future, and what steps are required to reach that future
your implied question, "why here, why now, why in this way" has a more specific answer.
The bible states very clearly that Satan rebelled, convinced 1/3 of all souls into following him, and that the penalty for sin is death. This flesh age, the current one, is the manifestation of that promise by God, to kill people who sin. Everyone dies, including God himself. Through God's death (the crucifixion of Jesus) the legal requirement is fulfilled and now God can continue doing whatever he was doing before this whole mess started.

There were actually two fruits. The fruit of life (a ok to eat) and the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. It wasn't eating the fruit that was bad, after they ate it god didn't strike them down or get mad at them. It wasn't until they recognized their nakedness as a sin, as wrong that god got pissed at them. Think about it, if you have no morality and no knowledge of good or evil then whatever you do is neither good nor evil. Humanity was given a choice, to live like animals without the knowledge of good or evil or to be human with that knowledge. We chose knowledge, forsaking life. This is most likely a table but based on what. If it wasn't fruit we ate then in what other way did we go from primitive man to current man.

A juicy one.
>>80064474
absolute nonsense
no one has eaten from the fruit of the tree of life
the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was strictly forbidden by God, and Satan's very first act was questioning God "Did God really say...?" and his second act was a half-truth (a lie) "If you eat from the tree you will not die, but your eyes will be opened..."

A mess that he created. I mentioned omniscience because God will already has known that "this whole mess" would have happened. Omniscience means that all knowledge that exists is known meaning that every problem has an endless number of solutions. What you're telling me is that out OF an ENDLESS number of solutions to a problem that HE allowed to happen (he knew Satan ended up here on Earth, he made the fruit that caused our downfall, all of this in his omniscien).
>>80061059
God is omniscient, he does know man causes other man suffering. However, he also knows that strong men will not lose their faith while suffering.
Humanity fucking up is not the point here; God does indeed know what humans will do, but he also knows how it will turn out for their eternal soul. Suffering on earth is temporary, how you get treated for dealing with the suffering is eternal.
After eating the apple, humanity gained the power to consciously make choices, and could choose to pursue action that God would deem wrong, and worthy of punishment, e.g. Hell. Those that cause suffering make the wrong choice, and will be punished. Those that withstand suffering make the just choice, and will return to Paradise to eternally live by His side.

is it really that bad?
I'm not trying to be snarky, but isn't it a bit presumptuous to say that this isn't good enough?
Would we question God's actions if he had never claimed to be holy? Or would we pray as politely as possible?
The reason why I never take this argument seriously, is the basic assumption of it is absurd. You're first assuming, as a premise, that there's an all powerful guy that no one can detect in control of everything, and then questioning the precise way in which the all-powerful invisible guy runs the universe
It's a very 'human' absurdity to first make an assumption, and then get angry about the implications of that completely unproven assumption.
