Because 'woman' is a political tribe. It has absolutely nothing to do with having a vagina. the word has mostly lost all meaning and now simply means 'good' or 'person I approve of and agree with and is worthy of praise.' It's similar to the word 'gentleman.' Once it referred to men who owned land, but eventually lost all meaning of description and simply became a word meaning 'good' or 'person who behaves in a way I agree with.'
