I've watched gameplay of it, I don't think first person shooters really suit WW1, they certainly would struggle to capture the essence of that war (mass slaughter which you are helpless to prevent). I think a strategy game based on WW1 would be very interesting, and certainly if it allowed you to progress through to the later stages of the war. This would allow you to realise how difficult trench warfare was to crack, and how eventually it was done.

Yeah, but in this day and age it's just easier to expect offense. Wish it wasn't that way, but it is. And I say this as a Muslim.
