Italy takes some time to get used to. its is a little dirty and some people look like north africans/turks, but thats just italy for you. Some people look germanic, other look like Albanian/turk. But yeah I bet Sweden is way cleaner with less graffiti.

Not a fan of Rose myself, i shall see what i can get to know about French rose.
Spanish red's a good go-to, but i find that in the ~40 euro segment Italian reds are superior.
Not much of a wine knower myself but there are some preferences i've acquired due to being in the presence of very wine-savvy people.

Actually, they would care more. Tourists come to Italy for good food, and we recommend restaurants and places to our friends back home (not to mention the rest of the world, there are restaurants ranking online). Italy is very dependent upon the tourist industry. The quality if food at these "tourist" restaurants are of outmost importance.

I highly admire Italy and it's populace, they're just the right amount of chill to not go 14/88 but still keep most things in control.
