Is living in the wilderness the most redpilled thing ever?

ITT: Post nice places to live if the world goes to shit.

Yes, especially with solar energy and "payed for" land. Literally the only thing you might have to pay for is food and water, but you can get water from a spring, if you build your cabin near one, and you can get food by hunting and having a small farm.

Btw, if you see limited/no internet access as a problem, you belong in the city.

I live in a rural area and an trying to get more "rural-er"

Life goals ehh.

Internet, you can get satellite, sucks for gaming but oh well.
Water, dig a well.
Electricity, solar, wind, or running water.
Wifey and I are working towards this.

My parents moved us out to the wilderness when we were kids. I've never met anyone else in my age range that grew up without electricity. I complained all the time but thinking back I was never bored and we were always doing a ton of things as a family to fill the evenings like board games, cards, ghost stories. It was a very comfy childhood.

And that dead sprint back to the house when you absolutely had to pee in the middle of the night and just couldn't wait for dawn. Good times. Nice to finally meet someone else.

My life goal is to learn the necessary skills to build my own cottage in some rural, wooded area. Get a couple of dogs, try to get some more land.

My wife, who is American, and I talk about it a lot already. She's from the South where land doesn't look too pricey, so that's the plan.

Gotta give it to that roach here.
Turkeys mountain areas are insanely beautiful.
Too bad about all the moustached women over there.
>>
>>79814306
When I was a kid I was always afraid something was gonna crawl out of the outhouse. Fuck I forgot about those days with my grandparents god rest them.

The hardest redpill to swallow is how fucking hard homesteading is - especially in an area with severe winter. It requires back breaking work, intelligence, foresight, etc. Know what you are getting into before trying.

I have left types always ask me "how do you farm?". Then they go out and buy seeds, spray some water and think they figured it out. Then they run into diseased plants, sick animals and the like with no clue how to manage.

It really isn't for everyone. Living off grid would lead to death for most people. I think it is great when people want to do it, but be prepared, and when you feel you are, prepare more.

Certain death by monsters is no excuse for the degeneracy of a piss bottle. If you're not confined to a bed those things are unacceptable.

No but then it goes down the sink so that wouldn't be so bad. It's the piss jug thing that gets me. Its a bin of piss that you'll have to empty at some point. Or clean, or not clean idk which would be worse. It's a very weird idea to me altogether, but I am saying this on /pol/ where piss bottles are a thing for people with indoor toilets so I may be the only one.

Not really, you're just pretending. When you need a real doctor you're back in civilization in a hurry. When you need some power tools, clothing etc etc you go to shop. It's just escapism.

>>79813332

Meh, drawing the line at internet access is arbitrary. You're either self-reliant or you're not ... and we're not, with or without the internet.
>>
>>79821258
how is it pretending? youre still living away from annoying pieces of shit people

theres a reason the richest people live in quiet gated off homes where nobody is within miles of them
>>
Culture emerges from conscious interaction with the wilderness.
Civilization is regulated culture.

You need to pay attention to all three to reach 360°.

The future is a Turkic dominance.
>>

>>
>>79821408

It's pretending at being red pilled, unless fatalism is your red pill.

Soros works overtime interacting with people to turn this world into a living hell. The richest people do not all live quietly.
>>
Satellite internet is something I'd want. But I know if I had it then it kind of defeats the purpose of living off grid. You'd still be bombarded by everything you want to ignore as soon as you eventually made your way to youtube.
