Swedish parliament recently voted to bring down immigration levels as much as EU legislation will allow, and is set to reduce the cost of immigration. This will not affect the hundreds of thousands that already came, so... guess what will happen to the places that got the most? They will likely be compensated a lot less then expected.
I grew up in a place where we consistently kept immigration down, and those that we brought here we usually put outside of the actual cities and into smaller communities where not many people live.

It's not just Malmö. Most of the southern/middle countryside is affected. The city-dwellers voted pro-mass immigration, but the actual immigrants were sent to rural communities.

It depends on salary, If you earn less than ~60k SEK it will be below 50% in taxes for instance i pay about 32% municipal tax but i don't earn enough to pay 50%.
My dad on the other hand earn alot more than the 60k limit or 50k (Iam not sure where there the limit goes) But he pays both municipal tax+State tax which makes it surpass 50% by ease.

98% of the people who can work DOES work. There are also barely any low-skilled jobs so everyone are specialised at something. The Swede is happy to give half his paycheck to the government, as long as that means he also gets a piece of the welfare state. It's a trade-off. In exchange for huge tax rates, the swede gets most things for "free".
Hell, you even get paid to study (though part of it is made up of Loans that you have to pay back, but at a very reasonable interest rate).

Well yeah. Salaries are very high here and the unions have a stranglehold on the job market. Driving down wages is something they have been trying to prevent, but it's starting to show its cracks what with all the "gibsmedats" who have come recently, and a VERY entitled millenial generation. Still, it ran like clockwork as long as we were a homogenous country. A high degree of trust and harmony made for a peaceful society where compromise, rather than costly union-strikes, were the norm. Everyone who still haven't recieved a permanent residence permit are still very much affected by these rules.
If they can't prove they have a stable job after living here for X amount of time (not really sure how long, 12-36 months I think) they will be deported.
Now, considering getting a job in Sweden is difficult even for swedes (and knowing the language is an absolute minimum requirement) we can assume most people who came here will be deported.
The new rules also state immigrants can't bring their relatives here unless they can support them, which means the immigrants who want to bring relatives here needs to have a job and not rely on gibs.
On top of all this we now have one of the strictes immigration policies in Europe with almost no new immigrants arriving here anymore.
