How would have the Pacific theater turn out if the japs were able to get there German tanks and planes in order before the Americans blew them back to the stone age. Discuss lads

>there German tanks and planes
>there
German tanks wouldn't have helped them very much in the jungle terrain of the pacific islands. It would've taken a completely different paradigm shift in Japanese military tactics to win that war. Thankfully nips are barbaric and that never happened

About the same. The US would have out produced them no matter what.

They would have to deal with Philippines then.
Which would be a major for the US.

> Your home in ashes, your starving children strewn about you half-dead and sobbing, packs of vicious wild dogs roaming the streets of once-happy American suburbs feeding off the weak, the cities burning on the horizon and the ground rumbling underfoot from the Chinese tanks out enforcing the new government's mandatory curfew.
> And always, through the din of screams and smoke and jackboots marching in unison, above it all you hear Obama laughing. It's been three weeks since you've had anything but pages torn from the family bible to eat. Your feet ache; your shoes have long ago been stolen by roving gangs of armed minorities and the tattered strips of the American flag you've bound them in do little to stop the cold, let alone the blisters.

> Just last June Ms. Gratz filed a report with Detroit police accusing Luke Massie, national chairman of the activist group By Any Means Necessary, of displaying a knife during a heated confrontation outside a state civil rights meeting. "It was one of several attempts to either intimidate me or attack my character," she said yesterday in an interview after a speech she gave at the National Association of Scholars meeting in Boston. She said Mr. Massie had a knife in his right pants pocket and toyed with it, pulling it halfway out of his pants but not drawing its blade. Mr. Massie denies the allegation.
Doesn't matter. Tanks were largely unusable while Island Hopping. Especially heavy tanks.
As for Planes the japs had formidable Planes already the late A5 Zero and the Ki84 were when used correctly on par with American Fighters.
It was the Tactic that lacked 3 months pilot training and then Kamikaze was a waste of life and Material.

How would the Japs have the resources and infrastructure to support them? Japanese are under an embargo since the beginning of the pacific theatre and their conquest of SE Asia was lacking in existing resource extraction infrastructure to be of use in the short term.

Can you perhaps rephrase that?
I don't see how tanks were really supposed to help on the tiny pacific islands.
Towards the end of the war, the Japanese had a serious shortage of good fighter pilots, so the planes probably would have had limited use. Why have a good plane if you're just going to kamikaze it? The Zero was a pretty good plane anyways

Tanks would not have made any difference in the pacific. Tanks are used most effectively in large scale offensives. Think Kursk, a wide battlefront across relatively flat terrain, fought between well supplied armies. Pretty much the opposite of the pacific theatre.
Japanese planes on the other hand were superior in some ways to the Germans, especially early in the war. I recently read something where a Japanese ace said the Germans could have easily won the Battle of Britain if they used A6M Zeros instead of BF-109s, due to their much longer range.>>

Wtf are you talking about. Range was never an issue during the battle of Britain. The English Channel is pretty narrow u know. Spits were more maneuverable and faster at lower altitude. BoB was lost for a lot of reasons but Range was never one.
