Well the way things are we have two courses of action. One is to stick to those ideals of universal freedom, and allow those who spit on us to do so without repercussions all while they in turn do not respect our freedoms and seek to punish us for speaking out.
The other course of action is to say "Fine, fuck it!" and strip all freedom away, since in this current pc climate our freedoms are curbed so we might as well curb theirs too.
The problem with the former option is that it might allow only our freedoms to be restricted while the left continues to tighten its grip and spew legitimate hatred unpunished. Then we'll just end up with discrimination against conservative ideals while liberals have free reign.
The problem with the latter option is that it might be short sighted and by stripping away all freedom instead of just fighting off the left's subversion over time we let the government (who is all too happy to take away rights to free speech) continue to encroach upon our steadily dwindling freedoms.
I'd say go with the former and fight hard, at least long enough until the pendulum swings back to the right and all the far left is crushed beneath it.
