How fucked are you when they start making all "racist nazi fascists" histories public?

Personally, my account doesn't appear to be working for some wierd reason, so luckily I think I will be just fine.
>>

Any accounts which are (in)conveniently 'not working' or don't show any results are simply ones which are of particular interest to law enforcement agencies.

No one can be held accountable for this shit since it's so easy to get access to others' accounts (hue).

Basically, it means that any data that a Google cookie or server has access to and they feasibly have legal protection in both recording and storing about your life on the internet is sitting on a server somewhere.

Additionally, it's going to literally come down to a truth that many people wish they didn't have to be concerned about...

That this data can be subpoenaed.

Welcome to the secret terrorist suspect list; if not today, tomorrow.

Normies are too stupid to have anything to worry about. It's us they want to provoke.

Oh well

If those insecure faggots want to know why I'm so awesome, more power to them

I mean, when it happens people are going to be so worried about themselves they won't have time to worry about all the crazy shit everyone else said. When only certain people are 'exposed' openly and publicly its going to bring up the hilarious question "why isn't everyone exposed? If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear" and so everyone will be exposed. The ones pulling the strings already know me, I'm undoubtedly on some lists, but who the fuck cares?

I'll let you in on the final pill; there's no pain on this planet that can compare to the pain your mind can put itself through. Don't lie to yourself, don't lie others, accept who you are and love it because those faggots who are going to force your hand certainly aren't half as righteous as you'll be. Know that big brother isn't paying attention half as well as "aliens" or "demons/angels" or "your inner judge" and that you're being exposed in ways you don't even understand and so you should just live righteously.

It's just deleted from your view, not their servers. Same goes with Facebook, they don't actually get rid of the data or it's associations to your account. Your info is too valuable.

I "deleted" a test account for Facebook that was associated with a really old e-mail address and was able to restore the account years later with all the data it still has on it. "Deleting" just breaks your accounts ability to see it.

A lot of people just figured that they collected user data on an anonymous basis, both to protect themselves as a corporation and to protect their users.

This indicates that they're working with the authorities, and neither the authorities nor Google are going to reveal the depth that this rabbit hole goes.

That was my particular mistake, was that I put myself in Google's shoes and assumed "self-interest".

What I have to be worried about is that I might have fucked up somewhere without using a virtual machine for every fucking financial transaction I've ever made on the internet and my "anonymous" life and my public life are in full view.

These corporations are revealing that we need to build our own darknet from scratch at the level of known users and that they should not be trusted, ever.

That's unfortunate for a lot of us, because we gave them the benefit of the doubt.

What are you worried about? You're british, everyone already assumes you're a sick freak degenerate.
>>
>>79735065
If you want a proper explanation, use /g/'s wiki.

I'll summarise though.
>Proxy
Just as it sounds. You're using a proxy server to go to a certain website. The simplest versions are online proxies where you simply google "proxy" and then type your website you want to visit on the proxy website and presto. You're not using your own IP. However it's easily traced unless you use a professional one or combine several different proxy servers together. They can also be used to spoof the website into believing your from a different country. For instance, when you see people posting from strange flags on /pol/ they're probably using a proxy. Some youtube videos don't allow you to watch certain videos if you're not in the country the video was posted. This is where proxies also come in handy, as you can usually set your country to that country.
>VPN
A VPN is a virtual private network. They work as a better alternative to proxies, but have the downside of not being free. They are paid for. They work in a similar fashion, but at the same time can also at some extremes make your internet faster. Basically you need to think of the internet as Highways. If the faster way from your Homepage to Youtube is on Highway A. Your internet provider will likely always choose Highway A. However, due to it setting this preference for ALL users, this means that your "Highway" will receive "trafic jams". At the exact same time, if Highway B had a longer route to get to Youtube, it would generally not be used. However, due to it not being used, this also means it has no traffic, techincally meaning it can theoretically be faster.
Another use for VPN, and the best use in my opinion, is that instead of sending all your viewing data from your online usage to your Internet Provider, it changes your internet data into raw, untraceable data. Meaning that if you go to pornhub.com and searched big tits, that information would be changed into something along the lines of 3489ug3894g394g38j

You had to click something at some point for the install to happen. They can't do it without some loose permission from you. They changed the "pls upgrade" window multiple times to try and trick you. I think at some points all you had to do was click inside the window and it set you on the path for upgrade -- that one caught me once but I realized after and undid it.

>implying you can get out of the botnet
technically speaking it's better to blend in than to actually attempt to stand out

by all means continue using google, facekike, snapchat, etc. continue using standard intel and amd processors (hint: they have literal backdoors in the chipset that are above the BIOS itself and are undetectable to the system) and continue saying your normal opinions.

it's all been filtered out. they find you and catalogue how you normally act then disregard all activity that's in the norm. using tor or i2p or any """"privacy enhancing"""" service will instantly elevate you to platform tailored attacks and full TAO made hardware manufacturer allied rootkits.

remember, they can instantly tell when you're connecting to a tor or i2p server, hell they can even tell when you're entering into VPNs and most proxies (they keep massive fucking lists). you can only blend in with other tor users, and that's only if they can't segregate you into a specific area and attack your computer/router directly

just blend in. they can't track the internet usage of 3.5 billion people well enough to do anything, and they're betting on terrorists and criminals attempting to "ensure their security" by using shit like Tor which can be detected by 4 lines of code

and remember, going AWOL and ""disappearing"" is possibly the worst fucking thing you could do if any government agency is interested in you. you'll be on a shitlist for the rest of your life.

Silly redcoat.

You've got your memes all backwards.

Feminism opened the floodgates for submissive men to fill their positions in a financial system that gives priority to those who are most useful.

All I have to do is have 3 white children with some Amerifatcunt like I already have and then assume my true identity as a submissive hole to fuck to subvert the number of women who pretend to assume dominant roles.

I see uselessfuckholes. They don't know they're uselessfuckholes, and it won't occur to them that they should go back to being ladies until womb transplants have "empowered" them.

They started just scheduling the "upgrade" and if you didn't go in and specifically cancel it in 24 hours it just happened. It should have popped up a window but if you just clicked the X button without reading or weren't at your computer when it popped up it would just upgrade without your permission. That being said if you just turn off all updates from windows you won't receive any prompts to upgrade. I know all the "experts" say that's unsafe but unless you have someone personally targeting you its unlikely you'll ever run into problems. Any files with personal information should be stored on an encrypted external hard drive anyways.

I keep my settings on a "notify me of updates, but let me choose when/ if to install them". The updates are good, but it's never really been a problem until they abused windows 10 for their 10 botnet. I've read all the pop ups and I think for two I needed to specify "no, fuck off".

I guess I can see if you have the update settings to auto install they could try a pop-up and a timer, but it seems like a bad choice in terms of potential lawsuits. They've gotten sued at least once so far for breaking someones computer with 10. Lots of office computers where I work were also fucked over, since all our software and hardware is quite old and our IT department didn't tell people to reject the update.

Possibly? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Internet Providers in most first world countries get absolutely shit on by the government. Meaning they can pretty much check your internet history whenever they want. That's why a VPN is preferable. That being said, VPN aren't completely untraceable themselves. Which is why it's best to have several safeguards. TOR and a VPN of your choosing would arguably be best for the most people to ensure absolute anonymity on normal websites and even part of the dark web.

I didn't really consider auto-updates and peoples computers left on. I'm just saying that if MS did force such a big upgrade that could break a persons computer, it wasn't smart. I wouldn't be surprised if they receive more lawsuits. If you bought a laptop with Windows 7 six years ago, had automatic updates setup which is normally a default setting and left your computer for a while only to come back and have Windows 10 you'd have an easier time arguing in court that it wasn't your fault unless even back then their TOS has some good legal coverage about forcing new OS in the windows update. And like with my company, it's actually caused lots of problems when peoples fax machine settings didn't transfer over so it was lost company time trying to fix shit.

Today the only relevant ones left are Linux and BSD.

In the 90s it was a different story, you had:

BeOS
NeXTSTEP
Amiga
Solaris
OS/2

and some others, competing for desktop OS usershare.

They were all killed off by Microsoft's monopoly when they started contracting with computer manufactures to pre-install Windows onto almost every consumer PC. (Except NeXTSTEP sort of, which was bought by Apple and turned into the OS X used on Macs today)

Linux and BSD are the only relevant ones left today because they are free and open-source, the rest were proprietary operating systems made for profit.

There wasn't much about W10 that was smart in terms of PR. It makes business sense, yeah, but what's good for the business is not often good for the consumer. I remember doing some reading into W10 when it came out and the decision behind the 'free release' seemed to be strongly associated with OS piracy problems in Asia (esp. China) and developing countries. By giving out a free update, they can gain access to literal millions of people and snag them as a userbase while gathering massive amounts of user data. On top of this, W10 allows for more robust data gathering for preexisting users who upgrade. The money that they can make from the information they gather offsets the losses they incurred from doing a non-traditional OS release.

I do expect to see at least a few more lawsuits in the future, but I don't expect anything to come out of them. MS has enough money and lawyers to wipe their ass with the legal papers, toss a couple bucks at the complainant, and tell them to fuck off. Even a massive class action would probably get settled out of court.

W10 fucks over a lot of average consumers and there's not much people can do about it. The current OS market is a duopoly, so consumer options are equivalent to choosing which giant they want to shit in their mouth. As previously noted, a lot of people are too technologically illiterate to use Linux (or another open-source OS) and won't consider it unless they are serious about their computer needs to want to put the effort in and learn it.

Allow me to post-modernize it even more by relating it to a recent experience where, whilst doing my lowly job as a shitty know-nothing graveyard shift gas station attendant (someone whom we all speak to once week... there is meme magic here...)

She came in the other night and literally admitted to me that she can neither count her own money, nor that she can see to do so, but that I shouldn't call the cops on her in our dramatic confrontation at 3 AM because she lived less than a block away. I pretty much set the stage, where I was a Mom against Drunk Driving...

But I gave her a fighting chance to get home and when I called the cops I acted like I didn't know anything.

That's what you experience when you watch the Matrix Trilogy, even if Jean Beaudrillard himself didn't get it.
