I used to love this guy and bought into his whole fag smoking, whiskey drinking persona. He made a whole career out of denying the existence of God but NEVER ONCE disproved him, he woukd just state what he didn't like about religion. Add to this he was a raving Trotskyite and the only right wing position he held was on the Iraq war which turned out to be a complete disaster. Oh and he was one of the founders of that whole fedora tipping nu-atheist movement. People looked at him and thought there's someone with a plummy accent and an Oxford education denying God therefore I will too. Christopher was a mistake.
