The police have guns too, and metal detectors at the door. The shooter would be shot quickly and probably not kill anyone.

something like this happened in baltimore if i remember correctly. black max payne jumped over the counter with a shotgun and caught the officers by surprise but none of the police were killed. they have guns to defend themselves

Because the way cops work is that they are a group, you get swarmed and are the complete spotlight until you are handcuffed. Are you new to how the various bureaucracies works?
not only would you not be able to kill anyone before being subdued, you would not get killed yourself because cops use 9mm specifically to keep their victims alive because a life of assrape in jail is infinitely worse than a bullet to the neck
even if you managed to get a clean headshot they would most likely survive because of how skilled cops are at emergency situations and how close most police stations are to hospitals
and even if you successfully managed to kill every cop in the station what purpose would it serve? new minions would be summoned almost instantaneously and take their place. sympathy for cops nationally would rise temporarily, the new cops would be far more hateful towards civilians and triggerhappy when on patrol
