I guess this is similar to a "red pill me on ...." thread. But it's more of a "please educate me".
I, frankly, do not understand National Socialist economics.
I'm coming from an Austrian Economics background, and I'm decently well versed in all of the other aspects of National Socialism.
Please give this to me with as much depth as possible. I've read the Wikipedia and basic generalizations. I really just want to know more.
So I guess, both the policy/Philosophy along with the actual way that those policies were enacted and carried out (for example, how did they save the German Mark)

If you look into National Socialist Germany they were very successful because they privatized industries and allowed a free market to function.
Hitler was opposed to Capitalism but his strong anti-egalitarian views allowed him to be influenced by those around him who wanted a free market. Hjalmar Schacht helped make sure the economy functioned greatly.
However, to fund the war machine the government used a lot of Keynesian policy and messed with around in the central bank.
So National Socialist economics can really be anything. Austrian Economics can work with it, except how the government can shut down any industries that are not beneficial for the nation.
Basically it's just socialism except it's good somehow because when the government takes all your money they're doing it "FOR THE GOOD OF THE NATION" instead of "For the good of the people".
That is to say it doesn't work because socialism is cancer.
Money is labour certificates and not fiat currency.
They weren't Keynesian's cause they didn't make fiat currency.

Fascist economies were based around autarky and socialism. In order to sustain it, military conquest became a neccessity, which led to empire building and eventually world war 2.
Germany did a little better than Italy since they could pilfer money from wealthy jews, so their economy didn't slow down until the late 30's

Unemployment and Welfare is illegal is a National Socialist state. All people must be employed. If you are not employed, employment will be found for you. If you need new skills, the State will pay for it. Education is free. If you are unable to work by physical disability, you are killed. The exception is old age, where the State will care for you in all things in return for a life of loyal and productive service.
