/pol/ will defend this

>washington post
/pol/ will defend it because they still believe they'll be rich someday.
>>79626524
Fuck off you filthy Justin Trudeau cocksucking leaf.
Poors today live better than in any other era too tho
also "may" xD
>>79626524
Poor people breed like rabbits, and usually the poorer they are the worse it is. Look at fucking Africa.
>>79626524
>implying capitalism doesn't have even the worst-off people living better than upper classmen of 100 years ago
Go whine elsewhere, you fucking faggot. Technological advancement brings us all upward.
>>79628741
That is mostly irrelevant.
>>79628841
>implying its not shit poor immigrants pouring into our country
Also explains the rise of manchildren living in there mothers basements. They got the american man cornered.
>>79626524
Global poverty is at an all time low though, and global average household income is at an all time high as well and only growing. But leftys don't give a shit about income in absolute terms: they only care about their """"fair share"""" of other people's money.
>>79626524
>Income inequality today may be higher today than in any other era
Even if this is true, the underclasses of today live better than the kings of yesteryear.
>>79626524
Crony capitalism isn't capitalism. Enabling banks to stay propped up when they should fail and taking bribes to stifle competition is what's killing income equality.
>>79629158
Aren't we against globalism?
Income inequality is not bad. Rich people get rich and all the lazy people become poor.
yeah and it only got worse under our current president's watch
>>79626524
Reddit can never explain why this is bad.
Standards of living in America are at an all time high, even for the poorest Americans.
>>79628741
>>79629017
I wouldn't say American men live better than previous generations and their parents did.
Although men may have modern amenities like vidya, air conditioning, TVs, and computers. We lack certain things that our parents had an easier time buying, like houses and college education.
And there are things which money can't buy that men of my generation have a harder time obtaining than my parent's and previous generations did. Things like starting a family, social relations, and physical fitness.
>>79629000
Please explain why?
>>79626524
The Washington post? Ha!Ha! That fag liberal toilet paper?
You expect People to take their rubbish seriously?
>>79626524
Leaf your bull needs you to prep him.
>>79629433
Literally nothing to do with globalism, leaf. Learn the difference between free markets and free trade and globalism and trade "deals"
>>79629433
No only bad trade deals and illegal immigration.
>>79629930
yea, inequality is a pretty serious issue in america right now.
>>79626524
A has $10
B has $20
>B has 100% more than A
Next, everyone's income is squared
A has $100
B has $400
>B has 300% more than A
Income inequality has increased but everyone is richer. That is just exponential growth. I don't see how it is necessarily bad.
>>79626524
As long as the average standard of living keeps rising what's the big deal?
>>79629433
I am
but the libertarians cucks seem to love it
>>79630808
>everyone is richer
kek
real wages are stagnant and consumer debt is up beyond all sanity due to cheap credit
>>79631042
the standard of living is stagnant just like the entire world economy has been since 2008
the only thing that was driving "growth" before was consumer debt and even that is gone now because people are in too much debt already.
standard of living is actually decreasing in the west.
>>79629000
It's all that's relevant.
The only other reason you could have a problem is 'GIBS ME DAT'
Stop worrying about rich people and worry about your own life. Like letting fuckloads of useless shitskins into our country so our standard of living actually DOES go down.
>>79631402
and all this is caused by globalist policies btw the exact things Trump opposes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2QmClRt9AQ
while Obama supports globalism such as TPP
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tRIFmhA7gs
>>79629000
>I would rather have everyone equally poor than the poor richer but with the rich even richer than the poor
>>79631630
>stop worrying about economic policies destroying the west
kys
flooding the US with cheap labor, outsourcing jobs, and creating debt are destroying this country
if you support those globalist/neoliberal policies you should just fuck off to Mises.
>>79631751
the globalist billionaire elite are the ones ruining the economy and society to begin with
>>79631121
haha yeah stupid liberty
also we should give up our guns
>>79631786
Asshole, the post was about inequality not globalist policies. Of course I'm against globalism, but I also don't begrudge rich people their success through legitimate gains which do not go against national interest.
>>79628477
No, we'll defend it because not all of us get asspained by the thought of people having a lot more money than us
>>79626524
Income inequality isn't a problem as long as the standard of living is increasing for every class (which is what's happening in capitalism). Go bitch somewhere else.
>>79631854
This is not even in reference with globalism.
Socialist are really that dug in their ideology that they would rather more people be miserable and equal than all to be better of with some inequality.
>>79632194
the standard of living for young white men is worse than ever. Cant get a house, cant afford to raise a family, and thus cant get a girlfriend
>>79632329
Blame immigration.
>>79626524
Implying there is anything wrong with income inequality.
People are not equal, so their incomes are not equal. If you don't like it, go to any of the socialist utopias of your choosing.
>>79631870
>globalism is liberty
you're an idiot
>>79632121
>through legitimate gains
That's not really part of the argument. No one here (I hope) is a communist
>>79632206
Rule by international finance is globalism
They also happen to be the biggest pushers of leftism. This isn't a coincidence.
>>79632418
You made it part of the argument when you accused me of sympathizing with the globalist elite.
Stay focused, Anon. Christ.
>>79629619
This seems like GDP per capita but not adjusted for inequality. It assumes everyone makes exactly 36k. The problem is that the 10% alone vastly inflates GDP per capita so pics like that are meaningless
>>79626524
I won't defend it. This is the natural result of open borders and cuckservative ideas of free trade.
Only Trump can save us from the globalist Jews.
>>79632375
immigration isn't the only problem
there is still
>outsourcing (any no borders argument in general)
>cheap credit (this is facilitated by immigration of course since most sub prime mortgages were to immigrants)
>austerity (there is endless spending for welfare for immigrants and wall street bailouts, but none for legitimate public goods or services)
>>79632569
globalists don't make money through legitimate gains
they are mostly in the parasitic financial sector and make money from free government handouts of trillions of dollars.
>>79632375
>Uneducated spics have as much skills and qualifications for jobs as the average /pol/ user
I didn't realize this board was full of inbred retards. Learn a skill for God's sake. It could be a trade or a college degree worth a shit (STEM, Business). You have no one to blame for having bad job prospects except yourself.
>>79632194
>Income inequality isn't a problem
>as long as the standard of living is increasing for every class (which is what's happening in capitalism). Go bitch somewhere else.
Intellectual capacity of /pol/ in a nutshell
>>79632815
Nigger. It's been shown that immigration drives down wages and increases unemployment.
Especially for the young native population.
Reasons ranging from lack of low paying, low skill jobs that pre emigration where part time or summer time jobs that teens took, which allowed them to gain work discipline and economical libido.
Also immigration brings all types of people. So skilled jobs will also take a hit.
Not too mention immigrants live in large groups that support each other meaning they can work with lower pay.
>>79632853
Not an argument
>>79626524
>A fucking leaf
Obama was president for the last 8 years
OH booohooo someone makes more than you, does that make you any more poor?
If you believe in the fixed wealth meme, then you might be deluded into whining about income inequality.
Wages + benefits have grown and are still growing.
>>79632815
aren't you the second biggest welfare leachers after the nigger population?
