Nobody just ''reads'' the bible.
The problem is that people on /pol/ don't distinguish atheists and """atheists""". Modern ""atheists"" became atheists because it was a trend, not by using reasoning.

You're right. They go to a sermon and get preached to about that pastor's and that church's particular view on this or that subject because they only choose what to believe, how to interpret it, and when it suits them to do so.
