Can we have a Heritage discussion. So I was doing a little surfing on the internet like I always do and learned something fascinating. You know everyone alive in Europe 1000 years ago was your ancestor (if you're European), and everyone alive in the old world 2000 years go is your ancestor no matter what. So bascially if you are European you have an ancestor on every nation in the new world.
Now if you are from Scandinavia or the British Isles not only do you have an ancestor from every country in the old world but also every country in the new world too. Here's why. In 1006 Native Americans were brought back to Greenland and were baptized and raised as normal citizens. They had kids and they had kids and eventually everyone in Greenland has this Native blood. Vikings went around raping in Britain and interbred with other Scandinavians spreading the DNA of these Natives. So although Greenland isn't technically part of Europe it is in this sense.
And because people have been in all countries in the new world over 14 000 years that means that the Natives taken to Greenland had ancestry from every new world country.
So basically Nordic/Celtic people have heritage from every nation on earth, and yet they are the most racist and intolerant against other ethnic groups even to the point of passing laws to discriminate against them. This makes no sense to me.
