Yeah, it's stupid. There are tons of possibilities to circumvent that tax. Probably the easiest tax to dodge. Same probem with the Vermögenssteuer, only that inheritance tax also destroys KMU.
If you want to tax wealthy people then don't tax wealth but high incomes (including boni and dividends and what not). That's the one point that the money has to funnel through if you want to have it. When you've got your money you can always put it into expensive paintings and shady trusts and what not. You can weasel your way out of any wealth tax if you're trying hard enough.

They want a flat tax which would greatly favor rich people and destroy the welfare systems.
They want to massively reduce welfare (which is already the lowest in central europe) and even privatize the welfare systems.
They want to raise retirement age to 75+ years, effectively getting rid of the pension system. Instead, old people who phase out of the job market would end up on welfare. They would lose their house, car, savings, and all liquid assets, which would increase the wealth gap between working class and capitalists.
Forced labor in the private sector for the unemployed which would lead to all kinds of corruption; entire workforce could be fired and hired back through the welfare system.

She is the certainly the extreme opposite to Höcke in the party. But we've already had this discussion: the AfD won't turn into the Torries. - If they did, it would be over.
At this point the AfD still has to find itself and until a stable and coherent guideline has been established, more years may pass. I am also doubtful you reconcile someone like Höcke with a neo-liberal like Weidel - this has already torn the party apart and cause Lucke and Henkel to leave, but we will see. But certainly: if they either became the Hartzer party or the FDP 2.0 they are done.
Most likely they will force the great coalition to do some reforms, which they wouldn't have donne otherwise. But they won't turn back the effects of globalization or mass immigration or the general loss of identity and tradition - which people like Weidel do not care about at all in the first place. It's possible that they have already reached their peak of influence.
