We're talking he crashed the economy, turk airways losing money when last year they were breaking earnings records. Produce exports and prices collapsed, Russia stopped trade with them, hotel bookings and tourism collpased, down 70%. Who the hell is going to float all the farmers, hotel owners, airlines and other tourist industry services, you're talking tens of billions in losses, all because Erdo pissed off Russia, Israel and a few others. The only good part is, all these people in those business sectors hate him now, wouldn't be surprised if the populace revolts and he's strung up, he has certainly pissed off a lot of his countrymen and all because of his stupid ego and muslim brotherhood fanatic bullshit.

Arabs brand of nationalism was always Allah first, so Islam the ideology was the way of life and in politics. Maybe some politicians were nationalists, but Islam first.
Ataturk knew this about idiots and islam, distanced politics greatly from religion, put in bans for islamic dress in government buildings and schools, got rid of arab script took on latin alphabet and so much more.
