Anywhere but a Christian church.
Many are single mothers who are attending the church for the children's programs. The rest are divorcees looking for a sense of community within the sisterhood.
Here is a secret tip about joining up in a church and why you do NOT want to try and hook up there (in a serious relationship sort of way, not in the "hook up culture" sort of way":
Churches are closed social cliques. All of them. So, now that you know this, here is the risk. The moment that you, as a single guy, start asking women out, you begin to build a reputation. If you hit a home run and find a winner the first time around, they you really have no issues or worries.... but if you fail once... well... your dirty laundry gets aired in the gossip chain run by the women of the church. The girl who dumped you or you dumped will spin up a tale about what caused the break up. Naturally, the story will favor her, and demonize you. This story WILL spread, and poison your reputation in the congregation, which will hurt your chances of getting another woman at the church.
