>CUOMO: I’ll say the name, you hit me with the first thing that comes to mind. Remember, we’ve got an audience here and a lot of people watching out there, as well. President Barack Obama?
>JOHNSON: Good guy.
>CUOMO: Hillary Clinton?
>JOHNSON: Hillary Clinton, a wonderful public servant, I guess I would say that.
>WELD: Old friend. Nice kid. Knew her in her 20s. We shared an office in the Nixon impeachment, real bond, lifelong. Seriously. Not kidding.
>Of course Weld had a lot more words, most of them no doubt directed at Trump, whom he has likened to Hitler. This would come up later in the program, at Cuomo’s prompting, but the premise of the entire evening had been laid out for all to see. Hillary Clinton is “wonderful” and an “old friend.” Obama is a “good guy” and a noble “statesman,” while Trump is a “huckster” with Hitlerian overtones.
>After that performance, the rest of the show—what amounted to a complete evisceration of anything remotely resembling libertarianism—was a bit of an anti-climax. One by one, the handpicked members of the audience, especially tailored to challenge the libertarian premises of the candidates, arose to ask their prepared questions. A woman who claimed to have been at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub the night of the massacre asked why they want to make it easier to get a hold of guns. Johnson backed down, claiming “we don’t want to roll back anything,” and when pushed by Cuomo said he’d be “open to a discussion” about depriving certain people of their Second Amendments rights.
Don't fall for his lies. Let people know the truth. Johnson/Weld is Clinton/Warren in disguise.
>open borders
>Gun control
This fucking disgusts me. I voted for Johnson in 2012, his rhetoric was much different then. Now he is a literal shill for the NWO
TRUMP 2016

Trump 2016
Remember when he helped Obama win another term?
The Libertarian party goofed by not going with Petersen or McAfee.
>>79435150
McAfee was accused of murder. I don't know enough about Peterson.
I voted for him in 2012 and was planning on voting for him again this time, but he's been so anti-libertarian that I really think I might vote for Trump instead.
Trump is still a bit of a wildcard in my eyes and I'm not really sure what I can expect from his presidency. He's a bit too authoritarian for my taste. Hillary should obviously be shot. I don't really care what Johnson or Weld think about her as long as they don't act like her. Some of what they say has me nervous, though.
I guess for me it's a question of how authoritarian Trump actually is and how far left these LP candidates actually go.
>>79435227
Dagen McDowell described Peterson as a bumper sticker after the first debate, and that's the best description of him I've heard.
>>79435238
He's clearly on Hillary or the NeverTrump payroll, him and the other "libertarian" CNN trotted out to siphon votes from Trump.
ITT nervous bitches

Controlled opposition used as a sink to catch right wing votes. Sad.
That tears it, voting for Trump.
>>79435238
People who don't vote for Trump are a) helping Hillary and b) need to kill themselves. Kill yourself before election day please if you're planning to vote for anyone else.

>>On November 12, 2012, Belizean police announced that they were seeking John McAfee for questioning in connection with the murder of his neighbor. Six months earlier, I began an in-depth investigation into McAfee’s life. This is the chronicle of that investigation.
>“I know we don’t,” he says, the muzzle pressed against his temple. And then he pulls the trigger. Nothing happens. He pulls it three more times in rapid succession. There are only five chambers.
>McAfee walked back inside to the 17-year-old in his bed. She was sitting up, naked, her long frizzy hair falling around her shoulders and framing the stars tattooed on her chest. She was terrified.
>“You’re being detained on suspicion of producing methamphetamine,” one of the cops said.
>McAfee twisted to look at his accuser. “That’s a startling hypothesis, sir,” he responded. “Because I haven’t sold drugs since 1983.”
This guy is a living scandal and a meme candidate. Don't delude yourself.

I'm not sure who I like less now, but they're both fags.

Exactly. The msm normally ignores and laughs at libertarian candidates, but they fear Trump, so they put a joke party with a shit candidate front and center simply to siphon votes and give Hillary a win.
Libertarians are a fucking joke. They're the autistic kid the in-crowd brings around when they want something from him, that's it.
>Drumpf is literally more libertarian than the Libertarian candidate for President
I guess I'm a MAGA now.
Libertarians Only exist to lower jewish corporations taxes.
>>79439700
What makes you think they won't siphon votes off Hillary? I would think that Johnson would be much more appealing to the average Hillary voter- plenty of liberal values without all the corruption and elitism- than the average Trump voter. Libertarians have for the most part been against Trump from the beginning, and I doubt many non-libertarian Trump supporters will be enticed by Johnson's promises of more gun control and forcing bakers to bake cakes for gays. Meanwhile, if you're a liberal who hates Hillary, of which there are plenty, you could do a lot worse than Johnson.
>>79432766
Well, I was still considering voting for Johnson until this. He's no libertarian.
I'm just writing in 'None of the Above' this year.
>>79440403
You're thinking of Neocons and Clinton-Democrats.
>>79432766
I was going to make a thread on this article. It's a very good overview of what a joke the Johnson/Weld ticket is.
>>79432766
I'm hoping that He makes it to the main stage and splits the liberal vote, a lot of BernieBros would enjoy this.
>>79440572
The only Democrats who would even consider straying are the ones Bernie brought in, swept in by the populist message and entrenched in communist propaganda, people who would rather write Bernie's name in. Johnson might be taking all these authoritarian positions to attempt to entice this base, but it isn't going to do anything.
