It's a slippery slope. I doubt the average Joe approves of it, but they sure don't do shit against it. I doubt they actually care as long as it doesn't mean higher bills. The media is pro-refugees, so is the (incredible loud) socialist and left side in general, which covers the majority of our political parties, educational institutes and general youth.

I've been following polls related to the migration brouhaha for the past 5 years in Nordic countries.
The general population thinks we're getting enriched, and women particularly are overwhelmingly for this ridiculous BS.
I don't have any easy answers for changing this status quo.
