Cops in the US are pretty shit. I called an ambulance out for my sick mother who had a really bad infection, and they decided to bring a cop with them for whatever reason. They came out, she refused to go to the hospital, and as she was walking to her room because she didn't want to be bothered by the ambulance people, the cop tased her and kicked her to the ground.
Keep in mind that my mom was 54 at the time, had several back surgeries before this, has heart problems, lung problems and weak bones from a hysterectomy and age.
Want to know the excuse he used to justify his actions? She lunged at her. A sickly old woman that was on death's door "lunged" at this trained, young police officer and he felt threatened enough to tase her and kick the shit out of her.
