You could argue that the 80s was a period in which masculinity found itself back in American culture and as such wasn't cancerous, but the 60's and 70's were just fucking trash. Cultural marxism, the Vietnam War, hippies, the Civil Rights movement and the removal of previous immigration standards in that era are the cause of America's ills today.

I like the early 1900s as much as anyone else, but there's one thing I can hold against the 20's it's that the 20s were unfortunately what would see the beginning of America's materialism (Which planted the seeds for the decay of American culture) see: The flappers, the Great Gatsby (Which essentially criticized that entire era)
