I'm not supposed to disprove god, it's theists job to prove him. A lack of disproof isn't a reason to believe in something. The only reason I say," There is no God," is because I live in a society where people insist that there is. Not the other way around. If no one created religion, I wouldnt be making claims that such religions are false. I'm not making this decision because I want to be different. What scientific discoveries show us, is that the bible is wrong in many aspects of creation, where as before it was claimed fact. This means the bible wasnt originally intended to be taken as a metaphor, this means theists are trying to still believe there is such a god. People only say the bible is a metaphor because science had proven that the bible is wrong. No one would claim it was a metaphor if there was no scientific research that contradicted it.
