I'm part Jap and I don't mind when Jap characters are replaced with Whites because the stories are from the pov of the predominant culture. A Japanese guy in a Japanese city, filled with Japanese people makes him part of that culture as a whole. I really love that manga but decided to sell almost all my manga but the rare ones because I thought it was time to give up the aspect of too much manga in my life and grow up.
Honestly I feel better as a man now that I did too. I kept all of my manga at my parents place and living on my own I never worried about bringing a girl over to sleep with because my place was simple.
When Imoved out to my own place the first thing I did with my 12 year manga collection was sell it. I had over 100 volumes from different series. It just was uplifting to sell it all. Dedicate my money to other things.
I'm not even your typical anime manga guy. I am popular well groomed, workout freak, and get laid on a regular basis. I lived ot all in college and still am going.

Yes. I discovered the Manga before it was even translated into English. I started watching fans us of the series of terrible voice overs of the manga.

Nah the second half barely stood up to the first (until the last few volumes) They could have taken a lot out of the back end and it would have been a better series. Still one of my all time favorites but it absolutely could have been tighter after that major event happens half way through
