Plus you're able to performed parallel brute force on different copies.

And Linux, while being very good and the only sensible choice for servers, is not very good as a personal computer, because the UI and window management features are not that great.

Android apps run in a JVM. By definition it can't run perfectly. The garbage collector is not predictable, therefor the UI can freeze (even if for very short tome) randomly. The programmers have almost no control over how the app runs.

Other companies simply don't give a shit. They either don't add complex functionality, or they make the user do 1000 steps to get it to work.
