Jon Snow - owes his life to that priestess chick and only won back Winterfell because of Sansa's new found assertiveness. They even made it like he was mansplaining to her before that last battle and she was the reason they won because of alliances she built.
Jaime Lannister - Can't even fight well anymore and relied on Brienne to stay alive. He's turned into his sister's bitch.
The only Greyjoy had his cock cut off and is constantly humiliated by his strong-willed lesbian sister. He even handed over his birthright as heir to their house.
Tyrion Lannister - Is now a beta faggot who grovels to Daenarys. His entire demeanor has changed and he has completely given his loyalty to her.
You now have a Arya as a badass assasin, you have those pic related girls who are made out to be badasses. You have that one hard ass young girl in charge of that house that helped take back Winterfell, the Queen of the West and the Queen of the East are now both women. Olenna Tyrell is one of the most strong-willed formidable characters on the show.
I am sure there are other examples. This show is literally about overtaking the patriarchy. I am not sure I can think of a show more subversive, and its popularity makes it dangerous.

First of all, notice how Littlefinger, one of the two only characters that appeared in every single episode without exception until season 4, have been losing his pressence in the show. He's supposed to be one of the main characters, as in the game of thrones everyone is a puppet of the players. The players don't want to be in the throne, they want to put someone favourable to them and save the wars and assasination attempts. After resurrection John Targaryen had to change his attitude in this key. People are going to be mad when they find out that the next book is going to just follow the show and add in some more details. The author already has the plot complete and everything drawn out, the show is just taking from his already completed work. The book not being out is a result of slow writing - the storyline will be pretty much the same with maybe at most minor differences.
Also while the show has gone full SJW mode this season, next season things will change things around. Cersei is going to get killed by Jamie, Daenerys is going to get stomped by the lannister army and come begging to John Snow (or Targaryen) for assistance, Sansa is going to get her fudge packed in again but this time by littlefinger or she will end up getting her shit slapped around by somebody else.
Don't expect to see Daenerys on the throne either, she'll probably be killed (or sacrificed) in battle trying to stop the whitewalkers. I think we might see the show end with either Tyrion or John on the iron throne following John doesn't die again or there's some sacrifice bullshit.
