That's what I was considering but my color blindness makes the jobs so limited desu, I'm stuck between a Logistics Specialist (ordering parts/storekeeping) or doing cryptology stuff in the Navy or being a Medic/possibly doing some infantry/artillery stuff in the Army. I like the idea of Navy travel very much though.

Just ask someone at your local center, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction and meet your needs.

Ex RN Submariner. If you want to see the world stay surface, you're paid less but you go places. Logistics is the easiest job, you can get away with not doing much compared to other branches. On subs their duty was much easier and duty watch bill was much better than all warfare and engineering branches.

If you want to do interesting stuff then CT is a good role.

Medic can get you sent to some horrible places.

Do not listen to this, listening to the advice at the careers centre is one of the worst things to do. By all means get eligibility criteria but don't let them fool you into thinking a certain branch is amazing. They are just trying to fill the quota for that role.

So I've heard, I wanted to go LS mostly because it is such a needed rate that I can go anywhere and do a bevy of things, and CT I'm not interested in to much but it's available due to colorblindness lol.

For Army I suppose I don't mind going to terrible places but I was hoping to at some point go to Europe or Asia or something, not straight to a hellhole. I don't know if you're eligible for any engineering roles but if you want to work in Europe, aircraft maintenance is good. When you leave you can get a role contracting for a company working for the US army in Germany and its decent money.

Kinda depends on how bad it is I guess, but at least when I was in a few years ago, they tightened up standards on recruiting a lot--tattoos could disqualify you more than usual, and colorblindness would actually impact most of the jobs you do in the Navy so...probably not going to happen for you dude.
Navy is also filled to the brim with niggers and Filipinos. Having to work with niggers seriously red-pilled me on just how fucked up they are--think of every single fucked up stereotype you have about them, multiply it by about 10, and that's your average military nigger; except they now have rank over you when you get in. Women too, holy fuck they are the worst.

I'm glad I did my service, did and saw a lot of cool shit, and it helped pull my head out of my ass after college, and it helped me figure out what I wanted to do in life afterword, but I wouldn't recommend anyone go in, honestly.

That said, if you're REALLY goddamn fit, and you train for at least a year before going in, then do special forces. The Navy has the best specwar shit in the world, bar none, and there's no niggers doing it because you have to be able to swim really well.

Also, be forewarned with the Navy; they have something called undesignated seaman. It's basically legal slavery; say for whatever reason, you slip through the cracks--they tell you your colorblindness is fine at the recruiters office, then at bootcamp, it's not fine. Or at A school. Or you fail A school, or get in some trouble; shit happens. You go into the fleet as an undesignated seaman, which means your ass is on a ship, you can only go up in rank as high as an E-3, where it will remain until you pick up a rate, which you'll have to go to your NC for, who won't give a fuck because you're not a chief and it won't do shit for their career to hook you up. Your year group will be the most important determining factor in you getting a rate, so if no rates are open up for your year group, your choices will be at best, Boatswainsmate or OS or SH. You'll do all the work a BM does, without being able to advance.

And by the way, about the specwar thing; you fail or drop out or whatever from BUDS, EOD, or Dive School, you basically automatically go undesignated. To my knowledge, Navy is the only people that do that.
