will retract from the demand for uncontrolled migration to the UK, if they all unanimously decided on it.

Brits can either accept immigration without any limits from the EU, or be out of the single market.

This was the whole plan all along, by the way. Merkel wants a new Europe without the UK intervening, that only works if the UK is outside of the single market entirely.

These worthless EU politicians are playing games with the lives of the people they supposedly represent (if they were ever elected for their positions). Merkel can't play this game and maintain what little reputation she has for very long - the UK is a major economic and cultural force in Europe and cannot be ignored. Surely Merkel would want the British exit to have as minimal a negative impact on other EU nations as possible to prevent her crumbling empire from unraveling completely?

The UK even has the commonwealth for backup trade and is probably one of the most likely European countries to remain economically secure from an EU exit, especially compared to Germany with the vast majority of its trade being within Europe.

It all depends on whether your politicians can accept uncontrolled migration or not. If they do not accept it, then you are OUT OUT OUT as Juncker has said.

1.Germany: -US$46.1 billion
2.China: -$33.9 billion
3.Netherlands: -$20.3 billion
4.Norway: -$14.1 billion
5.Belgium: -$13.5 billion
6.Italy: -$11.2 billion
7.France: -$9.1 billion
8.Spain: -$8.2 billion
9.Canada: -$7.2 billion
10.Poland: -$6.9 billion
It's apparent then, that key EU members would lose even more money if they restricted trade with the UK. The EU is causing self-inflicted damage on itself, just like with the charade last year with Russia. -.-
>>
>>79192031
>You do realise this will only speed the demise if the EU if we tell them to whistle for their free movement of labour?
Germany's plan is to only keep those countries in who want to be controlled by Germany's principles of a unified single market. If Sweden, Greece, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland etc. leave, fine. It will make Germany's position in the remaining EU stronger and stronger.

>The majority of the EU economies are in stagnant growth and in massive debt.
On average less than the UK... just so you know.

>Do you really think they can survive a cut of some $250 billion a year to their collective economies?
250 billion? Are you saying the UK would get out of the WTO, would shut it completely off from the outside world and that's it?

We are ONLY talking about services, goods trading cannot be impacted by the exit. And services from the EU to the UK is 50 billion or so, while the UK has much more to sell in services.

>Free movement should be agreed per country
It cannot. You would need 30+ constitutional changes around the EU with various referendums to change it. And a single country could block the change. Poland, as an example, would never ever accept a change in freedom of movement. That already is it, even if every other state (and in some state's provinces) agree on limiting freedom of movement, the single Polish veto would still end the whole change.

>Then how are they supposed to keep britain away from their precious market?

On goods trading the EU cannot do anything. But the single market is much more than goods trading, as you know there are 4 freedoms - freedom of goods, people, capital and services/establishment. Only goods trading is internationally governed by the WTO rules. The other 3 are governed by the single market rules.

That is the current notion in all of Europe except Germany. Everyone says immigrants are utter locust which is the worst thing ever.

Germany received 2 million immigrants last year for a net migration figure of 1.2 million - that is like if the US got 8 million immigrants in one year or 5 million net migration... a bit much and still Germans are pro-immigrant (but against Islam).

the eu is the only reason you have an economy, because it's not like your consortiums know any fucking thing about business. it's the reason why all your manufacturing can farm production outside of germany and into the cheaper east and south, and actually stay competitive against overseas companies. because your socialist business model is so uncompetitive that without spain and greece deflating the euro no one in the world could afford your products. if you went back to the dm your economy would collapse; it was already faltering by the 90s. you succeeded not because you were any good, but because britain spent the postwar period destroying itself (nationalisation of industry) and america was distracted paying for everyone else's defence. you can only survive by keeping the periphial nations in the eu down. you're a fucking vampire and the rest of europe is getting sick of your shit. you owe those idealogues in brussels everything, and the irony is that that deal with the devil will reduce germans completely to the level of mixed race automatons in a strange sort of continental export sweatshop. so who fucking cares what you think.

Further proof, were it needed, that the EU was never about "European unity" or even economics, as was sold to the respective European nations, it was always about concentrating the most power with the fewest people. What else explains the slavish adherence to the "principles" in the EU, clearly the Eurocrats don't have the best interests of business in mind, since businesses on the continent want a free trade deal to happen as quickly as possible. Clearly it's not about pragmatic politics, facilitating agreements between European nations, else there would be some leeway in the treaties or some notion of "states rights", yet both seem absent at this stage. So the people of Europe should be asking themselves "just what is the EU for?"

No, you cannot. You can only impose tariffs to a maximum set by the WTO, for instance a maximum of 10% for cars... and that would be imposed vice versa and will never ever ever happen, because nobody wants that.

Tariffs have nothing to do with the question of single market access, absolutely nothing.

Countries must have growth in population to feed welfare state and borrowing.
The alternative is growth in productivity but that is hitting a wall (UK productivity flat for 9 years).
Future productivity gains are likely to be at the expense of other jobs (robotics, AI, etc).

The answer is to focus on quality of life, increase productivity, and reduce welfare spending back to manageable levels. Personally I would also use western nation GDPs to purchase large masses of land in Africa where they are sparsely populated.

What a fucking load of shite that's been written here. Just goes to show how goddamn clueless people are.

The UK will enter the EEA and Germany and the rest of the EU will proactively engage in negotiations to make sure that the overall loss to both sides will remain as small as possible.

All this shittalk about 'ah, we will just sell to the Chinese' just goes to show that you all have absolutely no fucking clue about international trade. There's a very good reason why the UK/EU trade relations have been so tight even prior to the UK's admission to the EU, and it's not geographical vicinity.

We just want mutual trade with the EU, without accepting their laws and without accepting free movement.

Since our trade deficit leans in their favour, it's beneficial for them to accept this.

That along with the fact that we're a major economy with NO trading partners, every country under the sun wants to snap us up with trade offers, we can now pick and choose. Europe can't. It can choose to have our trade or not.

I bet you did, we won't be taking the people from Ghana like the EU does though.

>they collapsed because you sucked them into your union, forced a currency on them that they can't devalue and used them as a mechanism to keep the euro down and your exports affordable.

BS, read up on the Greek collapse. They overspent, were corrupt, didn't pay taxes, had 20% government employees who didn't do shit, had politicians embezzeling money and spent it on F-16s and submarines etc.

Greece would have collapsed no matter what currency it had or if it had been part of a Turkish union or Saudi arabia union etc.

>and if leaving the eu, you don't demand rights
you've got it backwards. it's BECAUSE we demand our rights that we are leaving

>The average Brit doesn't even know that e.g. the Mini is a German car or that Vauxhall is a German car or that Arriva buses are German or that British railways use German engines etc. etc.
kek "Ishould not have said that, oh no, I should not have said that!"

might want to keep such facts under your hat if you don't want us boycotting them

>Do you think rich Brits won't by Lamborghinis any more (which are basically Audis) or Seats or Skodas (both are Volkswagens) etc.?
rich brits buy skodas?

>>79196898
the EU and trhe USA are not comparable situations, as they actually do have representation

>Why do people buy Chinese products or Jap products or German products or buy Saudi oil or Russian oil and gas?
because they want them? what are you trying to say? that we'll just continue buying because we like the products and prices? well you missed out the fact that screwing us over would make non-EU products MUCH more desirable

>They will have to take the best offer. That is how companies have to operate to make a profit.
yet the nissan offer is 12% cheaper than the audi one, although most of the reps say they prefer the audi one as it helps the brand image, therefore helping to drive sales

That's only 7% of our exports. 50% of their exports go to the EU.

Are you implying that 7% > 50%?

Why? Trade is trade. The EU trades with Ghana and a hell of a lot of other nations.

>"Grexit" isn't going to save Greace from shit.

Yes you are right, but Greece could Grexit, default on everything, go back to Drachma, and become a low cost, low tax, low wage economy where they might have a chance of doing some business.

Yes they would have nothing to eat but fish and olives, and no more foreign cars, but they would have been able to rebuild. Hell if Greece had exited initially they would be on the road to recovery now.

As it stands they are still fucked AND still have vast denbts which they can no more pay now than ever.

This is why Varoufakis was fired, he pointed out to them the only way Greece could recover is if someone forgave its debts.

what the fuck are you even talking about darkie? germany doesn't have any 'common wealth'. it has a bunch of states that are only kept in union because their leaders refuse to counter any alternative, and their economies have been stagnant for decades. there is no common wealth there.

>>79197901
you fucking muppet. that's the commonwealth. i was telling that fucking nigger that no one likes germany and he responded by saying nah-ah, there is common wealth in europe and they'll stick together.

"German way" oh please ahmed, its really not.
we account for around 15% of your exports, if we dont get the single market your economy goes down with ours. Merkels said it herself, she wants to work with us and help us gain free trade status as it benefits both countries.

>Free movement of people only happened in 1997, hardly written in stone.
You are talking about Schengen, which has nothing to do with the four freedoms.

The four freedoms existed when the EU was established in 1992 in the Maastricht treaty.

When Trump wins, be buddy-buddy with him and the USA and the UK can collectively tell the world to eat a bag full of dicks when it comes to accepting shitskins.

15% sure will hurt us. 50% would destroy us. Luckily you're the one with the 50% exports into the EU. The EU is in a position of strength because you've much more to lose (50% of your economy) than we do (15% of ours.)
