Because only 34% of millenials voted, and of those 1/3rd voted to leave. Not to mention they are a tiny minority because as you probably know birthrates have gone downhill really hard since the 60's. There really aren't that many millennials, the average age is probably already above 45.

The easiest way that requires the least amount of effort/work to get what they want would have simply to be to vote for it, and they can't even be bothered to do that. They had the manpower to swing the referendum but they turned out in tiny numbers to vote, so fuck them idiots.

Something like 34% of people aged 18-24 bothered to vote, and closer to 70% in the older generations voted.
