I hope that the politicians will get the message and stop the mass immigration.

In the best case, they will hold a new general election and there will be a purple surge and UKIP and the anti-immigration Conservatives will form a coalition Brexit government.

What will probably happen is that Boris or Theresa May will become PM with the current parliament and the country will end up like Norway where they trade border control for free trade. If they want to survive in this case, the conservatives will move to restrict non-EU immigration.

>Muh democratic vote, freedom

Yeah that went well... The Tories are going to pick a New prime minister in an inner Party vote. Not to talk about labour.

>Muh sovereignity
Yeah that went really well too. A lot of pro brexit shills are already in full damage controll, having stupid dreams about norway plus. EU is calling the shoots now and they are fucking pissed. GB seems to hold europe hostage right now but what we see is actually the utter failure of the political system. The leave guys are clueless and have no leader. Opposition isn't any better. All of this is a big inner Torie revolt gone totally wrong.

>Muh EU scaremongering jew propaganda

t. 350 Million pounds

>friends with europe free Trade but no immigrantion

Dreams. EU is going to take a stand here. They have to scare off leave shills in other countries. Also a lot of the movers and shakers are pissed due to the special privileges of GB. They sure as hell won't grant GB special leave privileges.

>Muh economy, Trade Deals with other countries

Yeah that went really well.

My country is free.
I've got three kids and my eldest child voted to leave the EU. She's almost twenty years of age. I
We voted together. I showed her how to take her ballot paper and cast her vote. I made sure that she undersood the importance of casting her vote.
My other kids are too young to vote.

Voting is secret. So I didn't even discuss it with my wife and children.
Casting a vote is a private matter.

You mean in denial about economic realities. Isolationism has short term benefits if you're a growing economy who's trying to grow a local industry by cutting of imported goods from that industry, thus creating internal demand for that good. Even then it's a gamble that the local economy will successfully fill the niche.

The UK is already a highly developed economy with huge banks and financial centers. It's niches are all already filled out. And the UK gives peanuts to the EU.

The brexit makes no economic sense.

Don't bother m8. Leave voters are deluded as fuck. It's quite amazing how we are still getting Leave people hand-waving away the grave economic consequences of the vote. Basically everybody is too embarrassed to admit that they ignored the experts, so fuck it, may as well double-down on the bullshit.

"We've had enough of experts" is the kind of attitude that could destroy the country, this referendum has shone a harsh light on the level of ignorance that most of the public has wallowed in as successive governments have told all kinds of outrageous lies and had them reinforced by most of the press.

There hasn't been a single coherent argument about what the UK are going to do next. It's either Brexiters keeping quiet cause they know they've fucked the country over, or a bunch of incoherent nonsense about German car manufactuers.

It's like listening to Trump talking

>"we're gonna go to Brussels and we're gonna get a great deal, it's gonna be the best deal cause let me tell ya I know how these people work, cause I've been to Brussels and I love Brussels and they love me that I can tell you. It's gonna be great, we're gonna get the best deals".

OK. Let me make this very plain. The UK need the single market, the government already knows this despite the vote. This is not even a point up for discussion amongst any serious person.

The vote for sovereignty will be a reduction ad-absurdum of sovereignty in the 2nd best case scenario outcome: Associate membership/EEA (the best case scenario is we retain EU membership).

UK have, let me make this very clear, the UK have voted for the EU to do to them precisely the thing you Leave voters wanted to Leave. The UK will not have any say in how the rules and regulations of their country is run. Maybe you will wake up to this tomorrow, maybe in a week, maybe in a few months. They didn't take back control. They gave it all away. All of it.

What's hilarious is how butthurt the continentals are, especially those in non-countries. We are going to suffer for a while, then recover. The continent is going to suffer for much longer, but when they recover they will have control over their own countries again rather than being controlled by a group of socialist shitters in Brussels, and yet they still have the nerve to jump to conclusions based entirely on media scaremongering less than a week after a vote that is indirectly going to lead to the collapse of the euro and the EU. The real idiots here are you for thinking there were not going to be short term ramifications for voting to leave, and anyone else who is surprised by what is happening now.

Labour has collapsed and will be dead for a generation.

Tories have their internal splits, but defectors will go to UKIP, they will never ever go to Labour.

Tories may be forced to form a coalition, but it wont be with Labour, or the Liberal Democrats who are cucks and have been exterminated. That leaves the disgruntled public voting for UKIP in large numbers.
Huh?
UKIP came SECOND in 120 seats at the last general election, they will come first in many of those seats next time, especially since LAbour is even more crazy and LibDem even more cucked.

Only 6% of British businesses trade with the EU, yet 100% of British businesses have to comply with EU regulation. It's bizarre how so many people have to suffer for the privilege of a few.

What's positive about Brexit is that there already are more countries queueing up to negotiate a trade deal with the UK than there are functional economies in the EU.

>>79155962
See, this is it. This is fucking it. Any argument that shows just what a terrible decision Brexit is you just ignore it or respond in memes.

What it boils down to is the people who voted Leave overestimated their own power, their own nation. They thought they could leave and the rest of the world would run to be first in line for trade negotiations. They also thought they could keep the benefits of the EU without being a member. Ain't happening. Nationalism and Patriotism got the best of them, and #yolo votes. They voted to become the laughing stock of the world and to go down in history as one of the dumbest decisions a modern, powerful nation has ever made.

EU is a failing trade bloc.
Too much debt.
Too imbalanced mix of countries (contributing versus not).
Weak institutions (no army, no money for an army).
Still talks about tariffs and such-like, which have little impact in the current year.
Out of control welfare budgets.
Replacing jobs for one set of poor people (eastern euros) with another (immigrants from bongobongo land).
Universal widespread dislike from its citizens, who should feel its benefits?
Unable to defend its borders.

Think along the lines of tariffs on imports and exports, quotas on exports and imports, and how small businesses will do when their exports goods are suddenly worth less while their necessary imported materials are more expensive.

And protip: so much is foreign in a modern economy. The computer you're writing on was assembled in China with chips built in Singapore and software from the US.

It has already had its refererendum and voted to stay, it wont get another chance, and in any case:
1) Scotland cannot meet the EU financial rules, unless oil is $150 per barrel, its cost of extraction is $80pb, current oil price is 40-something per barrel.
2) Spain and Belgium will veto due to Catalonia, Basque, and Flanders, unless they want Spanish Civil War 2.0.
3) Scots need to come and work more in the UK than they need to come and work in Germany or Hungary, when they realise they can still drink heavily on holiday in Spain and vomit on pavements in Ibiza they will remain in UK.

Are you dumb. Economy tanks due to brexit.

You state its going to recover. I simply ask you how. Political uncertainty is poison and GB needs to create a whole New frame for their economy and Trade. Who is going to do that ?
>>
>>79156682
Two years is very close to short term mate. Any good investor like Buffett will tell you good investing is about having a large margin of safety in your investments. That means you are sure the value you paid for a company is a lot less than what the company is going to make. There's no point in sticking around for two years, the brexit means less favorable economic conditions for companies in Britian. Of course some of it is just panic selling.
>>
I think the EU is a great success. Why else would it's biggest member vote to leave and the rest of the members be buried in debt? Sounds like quite the utopia
>>
>>79157131
Which part? The EU is bound by treaties to assist militarily if any of its member states is attacked, and the common market is a very well known fact about it.
>>
>>79157465

Something called a Prime Minister and his advisors

its technical don't ask me what that means

Fuck you and get the fuck out of my /pol/. Economic hell, if Brexit even ends up resulting in that, is a good thing.

Oh no we can't have that goyim how stupid are you you know nobody can survive without complete and utter globalisation! eheheheh dissolve those borders for short term profit goys!

I though 'Eurotrash' was a meme until brexit. You're all fake /pol/ normalfags and you need to stop listening to fucking (((economists))) who have only themselves and their puppet masters' interests in mind.
>>
>>79157475
But thats the point. If you sell now youre already panic selling. Its utter speculation, which is why so few people engage in it. You dont know if Brexit will carry. You dont know how hard the EU will gut the UK. You dont know who will be new PM and if the British people maybe go full out against nationalistic parties already.

As it stands right now, there are too many uncertain variables to even speculate on the outcome of the situation. Which is why nothing happens right now. Wait until they announce a set date for the leave and start to negotiate treaties and you will see shit either going up in flames or nothing happening.

I refuted every argument though - by saying I don't care about your worries. I refute the very basic assumption that you give that Brexit smashing economy is a bad thing. I refuted in fact the very foundation of your argument and therefore all its points. They are not a concern to me. I'm from the UK, you are not. I literally do not care, in fact I welcome instability, chaos in economics and politics. We've been stuck in the mire of globalism for at least 30 years and probably more, and it's ruined this country entirely. If this goes even a small way to reversing that, then I don't care if prices go up or if some fucking investment banker has to move to paris.

What you did was make up an argument and claim I said it. I never said you did care. I don't even know who you are, and much less care about you. My argument was that the British economy was suffer, not that you who I have never met will care about it.

>I refuted the foundations of my argument
The foundations of my argument was economic uncertainty and unfavourable trade deals with the EU hurting the economy.

What he does is press several keys on his computers and invest in Paris. I bet a ton of investors just make a killing by shorting the pound. Or more likely they converted their a 1,000,000 pounds into gold, waited for the brexit, and sold the gold for 1,200,000 million pounds. >their economy is tanking so let's kick them while they're down
Their economy was tanking because the government was a colossal failure. It was corrupt, it wasn't collecting taxes in exchange for bribes, it forged overly optimistic economic data, and it spent way more than it got. It was haemorrhaging money. Lots of governments do, but it's debt was at unsustainable levels of over a 120% of GDP, twice that of the US. The EU was willing to ignore all of this and loan a hundred billion to them. All that the EU requested was that they become a functioning government by not running a fucking enormous deficit.

>I find it intriguing that an outsider like you knows more about Britain's economic potential than the British people themselves.

That's because Brits get their information from tabloid shit-rags. The surge in 'what is the EU' searches after the polls closed says it all.

The average Brit knows fuck all about anything other than 'forreners tekking err jerrbs'. Why do you think England fans think their team actually has a chance and is outraged when they lose to a better team like Iceland or Croatia? Because the Sun and Mail keep lying to them about how English players are world class and the Premier League is world class.

Britain exists in a reality distortion field stronger than anything Steve Jobs could create.

Canadafag here who has witnessed Britain voting "yes" on Brexit and the global stock market shitting itself in fear of future -exit movements. What are the advantages Britain will face and what are the disadvantages? >>
>>79162623
Depending on how the UK and EU respond, either both will part on peaceful terms and some diplomatic relations, or the EU will spite the UK, cutting its nose off, and further inflames far-right parties in France and the Netherlands.

If that happens, the UK will face severe economic turmoil. If they're lucky, a Trump presidency will step in to help with trade.

Either way, the EU is going to collapse. It's just a matter of how quickly.
>>
>>79162859
