Why are most millenials attracted to equality rather than liberty? What went wrong in between all those generations that left Europe to the Americas looking for freedom and prosperity, and the spoiled young brats today?

The human mind requires strife to be healthy. When the environment is safe and prosperous for too long, people invent an adversary to fight.

Because they are coddled. Equality promises you'll be looked after if you're weak. That at the very least, if you don't get equal outcomes like you "deserve", it's because you were cheated.

This is what happens when a couple generations go without any wars.
If you look at millenials there are two distinct groups: those who served and those who did not.
Millenial veterans by and large find careers and success after their enlistments are up.
t. 31 year old veteran, master's degree, married, home owner, air traffic controller at a major international airport. Most of my vet buddies also own homes and have good careers or own their own businesses.
Any young American not taking advantage of the GI Bill has no excuse to complain about anything.
