College is absolute horseshit, no matter where in the world you live. College only makes sense if you somehow combine it with related work. Nobody in the world will hire you, if you don't have work experience. My brother made his engineering degree and can't find work for shit since two years. Not because he has bad degrees but because he hasn't worked a day in his life. Meanwhile I decided to not go to college and rather do a industrial mechanic apprenticeship.
I've done my technician degree just recently and there just is so much fucking work in the Industry and absolutely zero competition for me. I've had so many job interviews that I could easily decide between 10 or 15 different companies. I'm 25 and I already earn 40k a year, which is more than I can even spend (barley any expensive hobbies) and I still have so much further professional development ahead of me. I also barely do anything at work. About 80% of the day I'm just chilling on standby and browse /pol/ on my phone.
