no, too late for that shit, we're in too deep
>shit economy
>huge debt
commie fuckers should have thought of that in the 80's before signing a liberal-right-wing-agreement but they were too eager to "belong" to europe
>>
idealistically and romantically speaking, 100% yes.
realistically speaking, absolutely no. We'd get so fucked in the ass it wouldn't even be funny.

We receive too much money from the EU but what about our sovereignty?
>>
>>79051909
They expect one of us in the wreckage brother
>>
>>79053545
The sovereignty argument wouldn't stick in Portugal, nor would the "make our own laws"/borders argument, because the portuguese population does not care about immigration/muslims invading, and in fact the crushing majority want to take in refugees.

There is no national pride sense in Portugal anymore. If you made a poll, I'm 99% sure that 80% of the population wouldn't mind being a part of a de facto United States of Europe.

All the rapefugees sent here run away and I've never gotten into problems for showing my power levels, so I don't really see the downside of staying

Portugal and Spain should leave the EU together and form one Iberian nation. Portugal can handle agriculture and fishing, while Spain focuses on industry.

Free Market Capitalism is a good thing
if we destroyed the Socialist State, reduce Government spending and lower taxes we might have a chance to improve our economy
also we should end the fucking Centralism were Lisbon sucks up all the fucking money, end the Autonomous governments of Açores and Madeira and turn Portugal to a pseudo-federation were the provinces have more autonomy

Spain had one of the best growth levels in the EU last year. If they loosened regulations and formed their own currency, they could become an attractive site for manufacturing in Europe.

No way our elites will ever deliver a referendum similar to the one held in UK. They know they would lose.

Portuguese and spanish abstention rates are around the 30 - 40%.

Ideally? Yeah.

Realistically? Let me put it this way:
Do you want your country's full control in the hands PS, PCP & BE? Because I'll become a terrorist and have a go at those sacks of shit before I ever let it fall onto those grubby little hands.
>>
>>79053808

Thats what the major political parties think, but not the majority of the people.

Like 90% of people I know (and myself) don't feel this way at all.

>because the portuguese population does not care about immigration/muslims invading, and in fact the crushing majority want to take in refugees.

We're just getting lucky as fuck wwith the refugees because they all leave for Germany. If they remained here, things would be different I believe.
>>
>>79060156
I feel the same way. It's sad that the only major party even slightly euroskeptic is a far-left marxist-leninist feminist party.
>>
>>79060567

well its a good thing... for a few people
very few
>>
>>79051909
Portugal should only leave the EU after other countries with the Euro leave as well.

Also, I'm very much worried that the radical left is going to gain a lot of power after that.

No need to leave. The "terrinha" don't accept muçulmanos anyway.
