that's what happens when jobs automate. you don't need plebs anymore, and you certainly don't need to pay them much.

only problem is how then do you circulate currency? well that answer is simple. the top .1% are far more efficient than the masses in forging economic stimulation, which is why the key players in the economy are digital entities with no tangible value, and ecommerce companies that are not profitable are worth the most.

they don't need the masses anymore in order to profit. they handle all of that themselves.

>>
>>79048582

People with more money have it grow exponentially because they can afford to invest in new money making opportunities. You have to spend money to make money.

They should probably adjust the tax brackets, tho.
>>
>>79049152
>you don't need plebs anymore

A system that regards 90% as disposable "plebs" has no right to call itself beneficiary for everyone.
>>
>>79049262
Surely those Walmart interhitors worked 10.000x harder than their employees, according to their incomes.
>>
>>79048582
What the fuck do people think the top 0.1% do with their money?

Shove it in the ass?

No, they fucking spend it

Capitalism is wealth distribution in the most natural form, all money from those bottom 90% comes from the top 1%

Goddamnit I hate this board sometimes

Capitalism is a fragile system compared to communism, but that doesn't mean communism is better. The wealth inequality we experience today is largely due to our government, for when they interfered with corporations by giving them loans or bailing them out, it allows them to survive for longer while still offering the same products and making the same amount of money. This does away with competition (the thing capitalism needs to survive) and allows for stagnation to take its place.
>>
>>79049320

it's for the good of the species. without sacrifice, we have nothing.

although, I'm sure you'd like to tear down every great achievement in human history ever produced through exploitation of the masses
>>
>>79049682
Do you know how wealth distribution works?

Those in the top 1% will spend their money. Meaning that money has to go somewhere. It goes to the top 30% for example. This top 30% will spend their money once again, and so on. Even the bottom 1% will eventually receive their share. If it's not much that means the bottom 1% is not producing what the market wants at the moment.

You think the bottom 90% funds the top 1%? That's a matter of semantics but all in all that's not the case because the bottom 90% doesn't control the means of production. What you said could be true in socialism.

Daily reminder that your shit system literally NEVER worked.
>>
>>79048582

Aren't you in the top 1% with an annual salary of little over 100k? I think at least for Germany this is true. This is good news.

They had every right to the gifts given to them by their working parents, you communist fuck.

Besides, what we have today is not capitalism at all. Government subsidies, cronies, wasteful taxation and regulations and such fuck it all up. If you were over 15 you would know this.
>>
>>79049558
They spend it. They invest it. In debts.
Usury is more profitable than production.

Communism is worse. It does not even offer a coherent economic model.

The thing is, Capitalism <-> Communism is a false dichtonomy, as proven by Denmark or Sweden, which rank higher than US and Germany respectively in the ease of making business, despite being far more regulated economies.
>>
>>79050190
What is Keynesian theory? If you could fucking read a book you would know that there ARE hybrid systems and we actually use them.

>>79050234
Those investments don't always become debts. Capitalism can be broken down to a system of risks. I'm sure the top 1% went through a lot of risks.

Communism is "less-fragile" simply because its controlled by the government. I didn't mean to imply it was any better than capitalism.

Denmark and Sweden are both socially liberal hellholes regardless of their fiscal standing. They're failed democracies much like the U.S and cannot sustain themselves for another 20+ years.

Third-way ideologies are the future. People are clearly starting to care about immaterial concepts again (race, nation, etc.) and there is little room in such a new world for an economic system that is only concerned with material profit.

Just because you don't subscribe to capitalist thought doesn't mean you're a commie.

>>
>>79050213
This post makes me realize that you don't have to be a commie to know nothing about economics.

Yes, the capitalism that Adam Smith wrote about was against all that you said, but he is not the only author of capitalism. There have been other authors later on that defended government subsidies/taxation/cronies/etc. And it is still capitalism, just a different variation.

Liberals think that the market adjusts itself and makes itself stable without the need for a third party's influence, and that is true, but it takes a lot of time for the market to get back on its feet after a major crisis. We can't afford that today. Government intervention is meant to simulate the ideal conditions that would otherwise take several years to achieve without said intervention.

No, monopolies consist of a few enlightened brains that are so ahead of their time they manage to release products with extreme quality for a very low price in such a way that no one else can compete.

They are prone to fall eventually when the rest of the market catches up with them, which is not a bad thing.

Government-created monopolies, however, are absolute shit. Communism is a government monopoly in a nutshell.

You fucking bet I do. Those people can go on welfare and it's still a net gain for the world, and in reality, those people will move on to something more worthwhile. "If the goal is to employ more people, replace their shovels with spoons."

If your job doesn't pay a comfortable living wage, the pay is artificially low or the job isn't worth doing, simple as that.
>>
>>79052995

Yes, it does. The bottom 90% are the ones working shit jobs for shit money and spend every dollar they earn on booze or drugs. I know plenty of them - they have to check their bank account every time they go out to make sure they have enough cash. It's fucking pathetic.

That has no basis in reality whatsoever. Paying people to be on welfare does not make a net gain. A company might find it cheaper to lease robots instead of hiring low skill workers, but then their taxes go up too because the country has a bigger welfare bill.
