Most people in my state identify as Gaúcho/mestizo due to our culture being strongly attached to Nativism, regardless if you're 100% European or 20%+ Native American. Nah, they have the stereotypical Castellano accent and don't look remotely Latin American. I can easily pick Latin Americans by the accent, specially Argentinians and Uruguayans speaking Porteño.
