I'm Japanese-American and the camps were justified. As another anon pointed out, the Niihau incident gave the Americans reasonable cause to do it. I grew up in Hawaii and you should have heard the pro-Japanese propaganda in our public schools about how the Japanese dindu nuffin during WWII and how the nukes were America's top war crime.
