The higher educated voted remain.
The less educated voted leave.

How does /pol/ explain this?
>>
>>78842792
Because its hammered over and over again in schools that multiculturalism is the best thing since sliced bread, while those who didn't go to college actually have to deal with the impact of it on a daily basis.

Limosine liberals detached from reality don't have to deal with the consequences of their high-minded policies.

highly educated people are more indoctrinated by the state, and thus by the EU.
Also high paying jobs are sometimes funded by the EU (or partially), whilst low tier jobs for the working class are often severely limited in number and income due to EU restrictions (see british fishing industry being stolen by flag related.

The average worker saw no real benefits from the EU. They didn't see the money that's talked about so much.

What did the EU do for the Welsh Fisherman and the Northern farmers? The higher educated knew how much money would come to the bankers and other Suits in London, and therefore wanted to protect their interests.

The EU failed the common man in the UK.

>>
>>78842792

>>
>>78842792
I will explain OP

More educated are already rich and part of the elite that favor the status quo producing their current wealth and influence. They grow up in a globalized environment and feel more in common with wealthy foreigners from other cities than their fellow countrymen

The less educated under class grow up in a less globalized and local environment and feel disenfranchised with the current elite ignoring their perspective

It's fairly simple 2bh

>>
>>78842792
A Liberal Arts degree doesn't qualify somebody as more educated.
>>
>>78842792
-The vast majority of people vote for what is best for their own interests, not what is best for their country.
-Having a "higher education" is much more common with younger generations
-Universities are globalist indoctrination centers
-People with higher education are more likely to be wealthy and therefore are not threatened by increased competition for low wage jobs

A bunch of other stuff too. It certainly isn't because people with higher education are more informed voters or anything.
>>
>>78842792

the higher educated are in less danger of having their jobs replaced, the lower educated either had or will soon have their jobs given to lower wage immigrants. The higher educated people in higher positions want this because it will allow them to have raises, the lower waged workers being replaced obviously dont want to be replaced.

its simple

They wouldn't be the ones dealing with it
>>
'Educated' is a nebulous term. When you class both people with gender studies and physics degrees as 'educated' you run into this kind of problem. Then there's the issue of the leftist takeover of universities in the UK. It's not quite as bad as the US yet but we're slowly getting there.

Meanwhile the older generations who did not need university education to be successful are automatically classified as uneducated. Never mind the fact that they've been around a lot longer than these whining millenials.

>>
Higher Education has been infiltrated by Marxists, SJWs, etc. for quite some time now.

Education does not correlate to IQ. Choice of major does, choice of attendance does not.

Also, if the only definition of "education" you have is paying a university for a women's studies degree, then you have a rather thin definition of education.

Etc. etc.

I think it's two things mainly:
1) "High education" dosen't mean "good education". A lot of those are cucky idiots with crappy titles in bad universities.
2) Those who are actually clever oftenly work abroad. Science and having your own company relly a lot in the EU, so it's unvonvenient for them.

So, either you are stupid enough to be influenced, or clever enough to take advantage of the EU.

I have two higher education degrees (a master's in econ and an MBA) and I would have voted leave if I was British.

Pic related is the real reason. "Higher education" doesn't really mean shit if your degree was in gender studeis. The average IQ of someone with a bachelors (at least in America) is 107. 107 isn't even a standard deviation above the mean which literally means that they are still normie-tier retarded.

Also, those at the bottom are really suffering due to these immigration policies, the lack of funding for the NHS (because poorer people have more health problems regardless if their medical service is "free" or not), etc.

I mean, just use your brain and there are 100 other reason as well.

I never went to University and I'm constantly reading over my friend's papers for their meme degrees. Every time I do they're filled with problems in grammar and they're completely unfocused. I always see things like subject switching in the middle of a paragraph and a total failure to wrap things up at the end of the essay. After reading the paper you can't even tell what the person was arguing for.

These are the people getting honours in university.
>>
>>78850657
And how is that exactly?
>>
>>78842792
Simple.

The non-brainwashed individuals, and the old who lived back in the day when things where better because the EU was not pushing its globalist-multiculturalist agenda so hard, voted for what was right.

The mindless drones that sprout from indoctrination centers that classify as "higher education" voted for what they where programmed for by globalists.

What's your point? Are you seriously defending modern universities? They've gotten so bloated and political it's a problem for them. They churn out diplomas by the tens of thousands to make people feel good and keep their funding up because people that fail out of university aren't paying the university anymore.

These people that are writing nonsense papers and not actually learning anything are the majority of the "highly educated"
>>
>>78843105
The most racist people I know (which is a limited pool considering I'm here) directly interact with other races and cultures more regularly than your average Uni student.

Uni students literally exist in an idealized sitcom situation - smart (kek) people from any and all cultures and races are gathered in one place, learning something with the hope that it will lead to a great job, all whilst living on loans, being spoon fed ideas and ideologies by old students that never left the classroom, making friends and enjoying themselves, all whilst they get to pat themselves on the back because they feel like they are living 'independently', all still on loans they may never have to pay back.

Under your own Leftist bullshit rules they are OBJECTIVELY more qualified to choose the destiny of a nation than you, because they are less privileged.

End of discussion.

We believe that the UK should exit the EU. If that agrees with the working class or the elite, that is still our belief. Unlike you, we do not make sweeping assumptions about WHO is right, we look at the ideas and decide WHAT is right.

That is why WE are correct, and YOU were wrong. YOU let ideology get in the way of common sense. Your fucking fault you Lefty cuck. The Pound has already recovered. You've already been BTFO. The reason of uneducated or employed, ergo to a bigger degree unhappy persons, voting leave is absolutely normal. The motivation is rarely the subject of the vote and some real opinion on it, but often the need for radical changes to boost the own life and, the most human feeling of all - someone to be guilty for own lack of success or failure, in this case that would be the EU. It is scientifically proven that people who went through some personal crisis (lost husband, medical issues etc.) during election years, tend to not vote for the ruling party but for the opposition, although obviously they have no fault for the negative happenings in the personal life's of these voters. I think Brexit was a very, very dumb thing to do.
