List is:

Jeff Sessions
Chris Christie
Ben Carson

>>
So many GOP voters say they won't vote for him, and that is probably why he is doing so bad in the polls. He needs to pick someone to unite them. Who can do that?
>>
>>78849221
I would image if he got someone well known in the GOP, he would be doing allot better in the polls.
>>
>>78839936
Most probable is Ben Carson. He's a Biden-type, and will instantly win Trump a lot of black votes while temporarily slowing attempts to portray him as a racist (we might even get through a full week before it starts up again). Downside is that he's not perceived as experienced, either.

Ivanka would help get him the vote for women. Obvious downside is nepotism, inexperience.

Rand would get him libertarians and some of the Bernie crowd. Probably won't win him as many votes as the others, but wouldn't hurt him in any way.

Michael Morell has been a both deputy and acting director of the CIA. He's been an advisor to both Bush Jr. and Obama. A good family man. Would counter the claims that Trump is stupid/inexperienced. On the other hand, he would be seen as establishment and has been a spook for a long time.

Trump should pick Carson. Even if some blacks view him and an Uncle Tom, he will take some black votes away from Hillary. That helps in Florida,Virginia,PA,Michigan. If Trump wants to flip PA or Michigan, he probably needs Carson.

Carson is going slowly mad but choosing him instantly gets 30% or so of the black male vote, and massively undercuts the racism thing

Also everyone knows Carson is a legit African American with a slavery background, not like Obama, the offspring of an East African academic or whatever his dad was

According to Trump his criteria:

>someone who would make a great president in case something happens
>someone with good judgement
>someone in the world of politics/dealing with legislation
>>
>>78850601
I'm telling you, Michael Morell was certainly on Trump's list at some point. Whether Morell has any interest is another question.
>>
>>78850509
Yes. I don't know how Trump can win the election without picking him. He needs a black running mate. It means he seals Florida,Ohio, and it can help him flip PA and Michigan among other states. It's hard to see PA or Michigan flipping with Webb, or Paul on the ticket.
>>
Thinking that blacks will vote for Hillary is a joke.

That's why nearly 14 million people voted for him in the primaries, and he would have had 5 million more if he wasn't going against 10 other opponents, and the nomination wasn't sealed a month early. Not to mention all of the new states he puts in play.

>>
>>78853054
Only real argument against it, is if Rand acts like a child and refuses to see the forrest from the trees. He has to realize sometimes Trump takes a hard line stance so that if there is compromise, its to the the right, haggling 101.
>>

It's obviously Jeff. Trump has been mentioning him in almost every interview since he started. "By the way senator Jeff sessions endorsed me..very very great man." They look like two peas in a pod. He ticks all the perfect boxes of an experienced conservative, well respected Republican who shares most of Trump's views. Any discussion of other options is just meming.
>>
>>78853228
It doesn't, but what you don't understand is that while the people in the senate hate him, the owners are quite happy to buy him and work with him. He got HUGE money from Wall Street and his wife is globalist royalty.

Cruz is a fraud. He'd do anything to get elected, he'd be a communist if it meant he could get total power. He is literally human waste. The worst type of person.

Pretty much no dem is with Webb except MAYBE Manchin but I think Manchin its full of it and just plays the moderate since he is in WV.

Breitbart's website gives me cancer.

Whoever did the UX design for it should be fired, actually I highly doubt that they even have a UX designer.

That website sucks butt, and is slow af with all the ads

But he won as a D this time.

Either way he's pretty left for a republican, he'd be a RINO as was said earlier in the thread.

Would have been better that way, because dems would have imploded by now and the Republican party would hVe fewer RINOs. As much as I prefer the south, democrats here are pure cancer. The blue collar ones I can at least, understand a little...but less so these days with dems being so full blown communist.

Everyone who is saying it might be Rand Paul doesn't know shit about Rand Paul or politics for that matter.

Rand Paul's ideals are in direct opposition to many of Trump's positions, plus he hates the guy. Rand is far too principled to sellout on his ideals like that.

Club for Growth was his #1 donor in that time frame. Club for Growth is anti-establishment. You called Club for Growth neocon, which demonstrates just how delusional you are.

Senate Conservative Fund was his #2 donor in that time frame. Senate Conservative Fund is not only anti-establishment, but specifically founded to challenge moderate establishment Republicans in Senate primaries. You completely ignore this because it doesn't fit your delusional worldview.

The amount of money Cruz received from Goldman Sachs employees was minimal compared to this. Five individual donors contributing near the max, four excluding his wife, could've provided this number. To say that five Goldman Sachs employees donating to Cruz makes him establishment in spite of the massive anti-establishment support only further highlights how delusional you are.

You and many others seem to forget that Goldman Sachs is a large financial institution made up of thousands of free thinking employees. Club for Growth is an advocacy group with a specific purpose. Senate Conservative Fund is an advocacy group with a specific purpose. Goldman Sachs is not an advocacy group. It does not require ideological allegiance to become an employee. Five random employees of the thousands liking Cruz, one of them being his wife, is somehow damning evidence to you.

No he's really not. Some people like him, but most don't.He has said really embarrassing things which the Clinton campaign can easily discredit him with. He has a weird religion. He has terrible stage presence. He isn't a good debator. Identity politics doesn't work for the right, and he's about the least "black" black man there is anyway. To think a bunch of low income blacks are going to go out and vote for trump because Ben fucking Carson is on the ticket is laughable. It's like expecting Manhatten women to vote McCain because Sarah Palin was on the ticket.

The Democratic Party is and always has been the party of bigotry. Both parties are filled with the scientifically illiterate, but Republicans have historically better funded science than Democrats. Democrats would rather redistribute that wealth, i.e. promote welfare.

Absolutely it can ruin a campaign, just look at what happened to McCain after he picked Palin as his VP.

I love Trump but I will not vote for him if he picks some cuck like Huckabee or a sleazeball like Gingrich.

Let's be honest here, Trump very well could be assassinated, and do you want people like them to take over the presidency?
>>
>>78858655
A wrong VP could ruin the country.

A stray bullet, rebellious artery, or an act of God and a man that was hand picked gets the reins of a nuclear armed super power.

Trump is one of the most likely presidents to get assassinated in a while so his pick is very important.
