We get in the limo to get to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and in the prom I overhear some of the Chads in there gossiping about how they fucked my girlfriend. We get to the prom and those same Chads all started bullying me and calling me a fag. I knew it wasn't worth fighting over (because there were a lot of them id get my shit kicked in). I told her I wanted to leave. We did. Obviously we had no fun prom sex then either. She cheated on me and we broke up a few weeks later.
That said, if I went with a cooler girl, or just with my bros to hang out, MY prom would have been pretty great. It's fun having a formal event with people you've known since you were kids, it is a fun tradition.
