I'm not really expert on former yugoslavia, but from what I know, serbs treated other ethnic groups really shitty (this was two sided though) so it's probably better that other nations seceded.
However Kosovo is basically albianian/serb state, neighbouring both Albania and Serbia. Now everybody can see that it is a failed state controlled by drug cartels.

To tell you the truth, i am conflicted between wanting Kosovo as part of Serbia to protect heritage, history, culture and faith, but on the other hand we would just increase amount of muslim and shitskin population in our country.
This is Josips Broz Titos fault because he was supporting multiculturalism, so he supported Albanian immigration and look what happened.
Between 1945-1990 about quarter of million Albanians immigrated on Kosovo, they also outbred us, now that they are majority after exiling more than half of serbs and destroying our monasteries, they self declared independence. Sadly similar future is going to happen to the west if they continue their road into the abyss.

I might be a bit biased since out of the entire region I respect Serbia the most, but I also both think that some of the region should be separated (albania, croatia) while other parts such as Kosovo be under Serbian control.
Also correct me if I am wrong but wasnt its independence backed by the americans? (In order to take more control/take away control from other countries)? In other words, Kosovo exists solely because its independence has significant value to the united states.

You don't know the feel when the whole world are attacking and demonizing your country even though we have a legitimate reason for our fight. Now we are shaterred left with nothing else but to suck EU dick while Russia is humping us in the back, while hopping they don't see each other. Yes it is that sad.
People in our country are scared to elect right wing and far right parties because they don't want NATOs bombing to repeat. Most of serb youth live in delusion that there is hope for Kosovo, sadly reality is against us.
Anyway one part of me is happy that west is being destroyed with immigration, conflict and SWJism other is sad that our white race is dying. Hope you understand our point of view and i also hope you policy on Kosovo won't change after election.

Hopefully I don't cause any further confusion but I am actually a Romanian vacationing in Spain.
That being said, I share your thoughts as we have similar problems with Moldavia, which is actually one of the reasons that got me interested in the kosovo area in the first place.
Nevertheless, im sure the west will have other problems now with their own countries and will hopefully leave the region alone.
Is there any chance in the future that we might see a reunification or will Moldavia be part of Romania before that happens?
