The left has found yet another target.. old and retired people.. Unbelievable.. how low can you go let's do the limbo..

Ok let me break it down for you you disgusting worthless pieces of shit.. Cause it's questionable if youth like that even deserves a future when they behave like that..

The old and retired people have worked their ass off protecting the nation, maintaining the nation and paying massive amounts of their hard earned money in taxes to try to secure a healthy nation and a secure future for their country, only to have you retards throw it away to foreign filth..

They have worked more and done more for the nation that you disgusting clowns might even do in your life, many of them are wiser than you can possibly think and you want to rob them of the ability to vote because you're too stupid to realize that you're a stupid spoiled rotten little child.. in a young adults body..

Infact.. the minimum voting age should be INCREASED to 25, only then do you even come close to have the wisdom and understanding to realize how society works and how the world works and what good values are and these things and what to vote for.

What this brexit, the response to it and similar things have shown is that the leftist youth have completely lost their minds and don't have a clue about how a nation and society even works anymore. The hippie professors that came from the ideology of 60-70's that went unchallenged and which delusional thinking that spawned from it has been a complete disaster for western civilization, needs to be stopped, and now the next generation of these assholes are even worse than the former ones..

It was not people in the past or old people that have bad ideas, no it's you the youth who don't have a clue because you're badly educated, and some of the most ignorant youth in history despite having so much information available. And your socalled "progressive change" represents the decline of western civilization.

To even allow teenagers to vote is a massive mistake.. which is clearly becoming obvious.. they are basically reliant on the government in some way at that point in time with a high probability, and they haven't worked a proper job for long enough to understand the value of personal liberty and self determination vs state control. Nor do they have a fucking clue how anything actually functions, what the fact of the matter is, what good values are and what the situation is around the world, nor of the history or the massive effort of their ancestors that they inherit.. consequently they squander it because they do not respect it honor it nor do they appreciate it, and to make it worse very few people even call them out on it.

It's only when they get older that they realize what a complete ass they have made of themselves and how stupid they were for thinking certain things and not looking into the facts of the matter.. And THEN they should be eligible to vote.. 25+ or even more.
>>
I remember being stupid and irresponsible at 18. Really awful age. If anything the voting age should go up.

They were young when they did those things. They were great things but old people seem to be unable to look at the wider context of the modern world when making decisions like this.

Finally, even if you're convinced that Leave was the right thing to do, it doesn't matter. The pensioners will be dead soon, this won't affect them. Meanwhile people in their late teens and early twenties- you know, the future of the country- are mostly devastated with this decision, and they have to live with it for their entire lives.

Sometimes I feel like votes should be weighted by factors like age. I don't feel great about that idea because any kind of going backwards with enfranchisement seems wrong, but something has to be done about the issue of the elderly ruining the youth's future.

Or the leftist in what Putin does.

Or the illegal immigrant who does not pay taxes in anything.

Or the american in UK politics.

Fuck off you dumb nigger. Everything influences everything, and it is the old mans country as much as the young man. Exactly this. You don't get to tell people what you want to inherit from them, they leave you what they want you to have.

Of course if the young people had actually gone out and voted they might have won. Instead of holding themselves accountable for a low turnout they want to restrict the rights of the people who do care enough to actually take 5 min out of their day to vote.

This is Cultural Marxism/Alinskyism at it's finest.

Women against men
Blacks against whites
gays against straights
Muslims and atheists against Christians
The poor against the middle class
Immigrants against native citizens

and now....

YOUNG AGAINST OLD.

Even though they always set up side projects like trannies against gay men and blacks against cops-They're always attacking the middle.

Traditionalist, straight, white, middle class Christians. The spine of the nation.

The Brexit vote while it didn't go in their favour (though I think some of the more extreme left elements such as capital letter Commies and Socialists supported the leave campaign) it was simply a platform to launch another social struggle.

You watch when Trump gets in, they will have something else to launch. We should anticipate what this is - as they are endlessly scheming. And won't stop until they are destroyed.

-Some- Voting should be based on a stacking points system

Are a citizen 16 or older? 1 point
Are over 21? 1 point
Have worked a job in the last year? 1 point
Are married? 1 point
Have children or dependants? 1point
Own land/have a mortgage? 1 point
Are over 35? 1 point
Own/run a business or have employed people in the last year? 1 point
Have graduated from an accredited academic institution? 1 point
Have a driver's license? 1 point
Have achieved the trifecta of western life (graduated high school, got married, and maintained employment at one job for 5 years)? 1 point.
Have perfect or near perfect credit? 1 point
The current vote pertains to your socioeconomic class and or ethnic interest? 1 point (/pol/ won't like this)
Are an un-pardoned convicted felon? - 2 points(for 10 years)

This system should encourage the ideas of those who are actually successful in the current system as to how to make the nation more successful and give a hint to people how to be successful in the current system instead of having the polls overrun with revenge-seeking, media excited failures to subvert democracy. Logical thinking and living should be rewarded with a greater stake in democracy.

/pol/ likes to bitch about liberal professors, but the real indoctrination is student-to-student. It creates a feedback loop that reinforces the "normal" beliefs within the group while shutting out all else. Unless your degree is in politics (and even that is becoming more and more of a joke) the average student has just as little political understanding as the average janitor, except that the janitor will at least be aware of their ignorance.

This is the problem.

To you, the working class have just been tricked; that there's no way they can possibly vote for anything in their interest if it doesn't match that of the middle class.

The EU referendum inadvertently became a vote on the establishment, on globalism, and on the way the world is headed. To the remain side, that makes it invalid.

If a working class voter heard one side talking about issues that affect them on a personal, every-day level, such as immigration, then voted on that issue alone, without any understanding of the economic implications, that doesn't make their vote invalid.

This is the first vote in all of our lives where people were given a choice that is more than red or blue. This was the chance for the disenfranchised to say they are not happy with any of it, be they working class, old, or whatever. This referendum implicitly approached issues that no politician can explicitly touch.

The left are fucking losing their shit because, on some level, they know this might be the undoing of everything they've worked for; the system that was never meant to be challenged.

They've made it clear they never wanted democracy, they want an illusion that gives them more or less what they want all the time, to placate people when they believe they have any semblance of control, and this time, it wasn't just that.

True to a point, they want to remove ideas that are cancerous, we have evolved as a society in the west because we slowly started abandoning bad ideas, ideas that keep us down and under.

The problem is that a lot of left forget to do it to their own ideas, such as multiculturalism, cultural relativity, moral relativity, those ideas should be burnt at the stake and pissed upon the ashes.

Right-wing views... a lot of them are fear-based. or lack of information based.
For example, the rhetoric about how the UK has not enough power and has to do what the EU says... would be true, if and only if the UK had not voted "yes" on 98% of the times towards EU laws.

Old people have no real world experience of the UK before and after the EU!

Old people don't deserve a say in a country they have contributed to for a lifetime!

Young people however have fully developed brains at the age of 18!

They also vote in record numbers!

Young people are always right.

so the idea that someone can work in and pay taxes to a country for 65 years has no say in how that country is run is representative and equal to you is it?
